Prologue

"Alicia! You got a package in the mail" My mom screamed up the stairs

"Thanks mom!" I screamed back

When i got down stairs there was a small box sitting on the table. My heart stopped when i seen that all to familiar logo in the top right hand corner. I gave a little squeal and ran back upstairs to my room. I was about to open the box when my mom walked in looking quite happy.

"is that from HomeTown honey"

"Yeah mom, I'm so excited to open it" I said with a huge smile across my face

"Well then, what are you waiting for, let's get this bad boy open"

And with that i teared the box open quickly but carefully, not to rip anything. When i got the box open there was a letter sitting on top.

"Dear, Ms. Alicia Jane

Me and the boys are so glad to let you know that you have won the competition and get to come and see us live. You also get a V.I.P Pass backstage to hand out with us and take pictures.

As i was reading this i had the most biggest smile i could possible have. I jumped up and tightly hugged my mom

"So did you win honey?"

"Did i win?, Yeah i won and i get to see them backstage as well ahhh"  

"Is there anything else in that box" My mom asked

I went back over and seen that there's 2 front row tickets, 2       V.I.P passes, a winner's badge and a +1 Friend badge, which meant i could bring a friend.

"Mom look, i could bring someone with me, Can i bring my friend Emma?"

"Yeah sure, I'll go and call her parents and ask"

Then my mom left. The concert was in a week and it was about 20 minutes away on the train but about 1 hour to walk. Let's hope the trains on.

I couldn't believe that this was happening. It was like only yesterday i was sad and worried that i wouldn't win and couldn't meet them but now here i am with the tickets in my hand while i'm jumping up and down with joy. I hope this week goes by quickly.
