RAVEN POV

"Kirin..." My captor whispers my name as he lifts my chin to look at him.

What a wasted effort, summoning all that courage just so it could all go down the drain. His face is so pale it's nearly white. His hair is like snow, his eyes are gold on black. The hand at his side has black fingernails. He is wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans that fit loosely on his thin frame. Oh, his collarbones! They remind me of Hei's collarbones from Darker than Black... very defined...

'WAIT WAIT WAIT! NO NO NO NO AND NO! I AM NOT FALLING FOR SOME RANDOM GUY WHO CAPTURED ME AND THEN CONFESSES HIS LOVE! NO WAY IN HELL! All of Hell for that matter!'

I regain my scowl and yank my head out of his grip and turn around on the bed and sit criss-cross. My back to my captor. I can feel that my face is red because my ears are burning.

"I didn't catch your name." I whisper.

"That's because I never threw it."

What a smart-ass. I sit in silence until he leaves the room. Locking the door behind him. I look towards the door. Nothing is going to happen if I stay here pissed off. There is a small window at the top of the room. Morphing into a raven I flew up to the window and looked out after settling into the window sill.

I can see the ocean. It's dark blue waters lapping the side of a wooden dock leading out onto the water. Above the water there is pink and orange clouds. The sun had just barely touched the water when my captor came back in with a tray of food. He looked around for me, confused.

WHITE WOLF POV

I swore to God that I left Kirin on my bed. I come back after getting some food and she isn't anywhere to bee seen. The bathroom door is open which means she isn't there. The windows are too high up from the ground for her to reach much less escape from. My bed is too close to the floor to hold a human, even a half-starved lithe human like Kirin.

"Kirin? Kirin? Where did you go?"

Nowhere. AND I locked the door! Where the hell- I hear a flap of small wings. A literal raven lands in from of the food tray I set down and starts to eat the rice. Ravens don't eat rice, even starving ones.

"What the-"

"Shut up moron."

It sounded like Kirin's voice. And a kind one at that. I look at the raven who is looking at me.

"Turn around."

The RAVEN can talk. I slowly turn around and hear a pair of feet hit the floor and run in the direction of the bathroom.

"Okay, you're good to turn around. " Kirin's voice tells me.

The raven is gone and Kirin's head is peeking out from the doorway to the bathroom.

"I'm confused."

"About what?"

"You."

"You need to specify a little more."

"Why the hell was there a raven on my bed and why did I need to turn around?"

"1) I can morph and 2) I don't like boys or anyone for that matter looking at me naked." I stiffen and Raven looks at me quizzically.

"What?"

I try to relax, but it's hard because I know that there is nothing but a door protecting me from a sight that could scar me for life.

"I want to get to know you."

"Okay. I'm gonna need a shirt though. Morphing while thinking too much burns away any clothes I have on. Unless it's my scarf." I look at the scarf on the chair behind me. Her scarf? Weird.

"I don't have anything that will fit you perfectly..."

"Fine by me, any will work." I walk over to my dresser to grab a shirt.

KIRIN POV

Oh my God. I am naked and I'm having a conversation with a boy while hiding in the bathroom. My poor dignity. I wait patiently as I watch my captor get a black T-shirt.

"Thanks."

He is turned away from me and I can still he his face because he is taller than me. He is a tomato. I giggle a little bit before taking the shirt and closing the door. I hear him walk away from the bathroom door and sit on the bed. I inspect the shirt he gave me. It's a plain white shirt. I put it on and open the door and look for my captor.

He is sitting on the opposite side of the bed from me. I betcha he's still blushing. I slowly climb onto the bed and throw myself onto his back. Not expecting my weight he falls off. I am left on my stomach on the bed. I start kicking my legs playfully, back and forth, like a normal girl would do. He gets up from the floor and looks at me smiling guiltily. A real smile appears on his face. It's really cute compared to the smirk I can tell his usually wears because I can see the effects of smirking all the time.

"You should smile more." We both say at the same time.

I stop kicking my legs and sit on my knees. I scratch the back of my head while he sits down on the bed again, this time facing me.

"Umm, where should I start?"

"Start at the beginning..." This is going to last a couple hours... I start.

"Hello, my name is Kirin..."
