So I've been thinking lately about how ToG relates to Cinderella and how beauty and the beast relates to ACOTAR

So I came up with some similarities

ToG and Cinderella similarities:

Meet a prince
Banned from ball
Go to ball anyway
Kiss prince

But then there's the differences

Tog and Cinderella differences:

I'm pretty sure Cinderella wasn't an assassin
Celaena basically dumped Dorian at the end of ToG
No assassin competition in Cinderella
Cinderella wasn't a criminal
Cinderella wasn't badass
Cinderella wasn't fae
Cinderella...

Like seriously the list goes on but of course they're not gonna be exactly the same that's the WHOLE POINT!!!

then there's ACOTAR

ACOTAR and beauty and the beast similarities:

Curse
Beast who is actually sexy in human form
That other guy who wants to steal the girl
I'm basing my knowledge of this purely on the Disney film
Lucien is basically the equivalent of the talking cutlery
There's magic

Acotar and beauty and the beast differences and WHY didn't ACOTAR capitalise itself the first time I'm too lazy to correct that:

I actually brought cinder today purely because I wanna see how it relates to Cinderella like ToG (at least from what I've heard it relates to Cinderella)
