Chaining Me Down

Prologue

Me: Hello!

Cielo (Tsuna): Hi...

Me: So, Tsuna~ you are chased by the mafia. What are you going to do?

Cielo (Tsuna): HIE~! I will run away from the mafia to whatever costs it takes...!

Me: Eh?! That wouldn't be any fun in this story then. Oh, Cielo, please do the disclaimer. I promise I will give you a strawberry cake afterwards~!

Cielo (Tsuna): Hacker-san doesn't own KHR and it belongs to Amano Akira, she only owns the plot of the story.

Normal POV:

Cielo was with his mother at the backyard of the Vongola Mansion, playing with her happily. Diana, Cielo's mother, was smiling at him playing with the animals. But she knew that something bad will happen someday. What was the bad omen she was feeling?

"Ne, okaa-san, why don't you and otou-san spend time with each other?" Cielo asked curiously. "I meant like both of you never go out with each other."

Diana was hesitant to say the reason for not spending time with Placido, her husband. She made a lie to trick Cielo, she was regretting of what she is doing right now.

Diana said, "Sweetie, your dad is busy so we can't spend time together besides having dinner together. So that's why I don't want to disturb his work...."

Cielo hummed agreeably but wants to ask more. His mother stood up and asked him to come with her back tot the mansion. He ran to her and went back to the house, busy talking all the way. She told Cielo to go shower before eating dinner. He complied like an obedient and good child, after when he was done, he was about to go the the dining room until....

"Dear, don't you dare to lay a finger on my son!!!" Diana yelled at her husband angrily.

"But Cielo is the key to rule the whole world, he may even get what he wants! Jewels, money, affairs, and many other things!" Placido argued back.

"What?! He is not a toy to be played with! Not with his innocence! I will help him achieve his own dreams." Diana proclaimed to her husband.

Cielo hid behind the wall to listen to their argument. He was silently hearing them saying things to do something with him, his mother defended him. He was so happy that he wanted to hug his mother. Though deep in his mind, there was a voice calling out to him.

"Run away, don't listen to what they say! The mafia will track you down for your status! Now run!!" the voice said.

Cielo started to slip out of the dining room and ran to the entrance without looking back. He ran as fast as he can. Not knowing, his father killed his mother. he still thought of her as he ran for his life, wanting to live a normal life instead of the dark, cruel world of the mafia. Killing, deadly screams, death. he didn't want any of that.

Soon after that, he ran out of breathe, someone called out to him, "Hey... Are you okay? Oh my..."

That was all he heard and finally blacked out. Nana and Iemitsu panicked as of what to do with him. They agreed in adopting him as their son so they put him on Iemitsu's back and started to go to their house right away.

"Mmmnnnn...... where am.... I?" Cielo questioned himself.

Nana came downstairs and looked at the person just woke up. She ran to him and put her hand on his forehead and said, "Hmmm..... You still have a fever, let me go and get a wet towel to stop the heat!

Nana went to the bathroom and took a towel, taking a metal bin to fill the water. After when she was done, she started to put the towel in the water to absorb the water through the piece of cloth. She took everything. Placing the bin filled water on the small table, she placed the towel on Cielo's forehead.

"Everything will be okay." Nana reassured Cielo with her warm, welcoming smile.

Cielo felt like smiling with their comforting atmosphere around them. But he was afraid they might leave him. So Cielo curiously asked a question.

"Umm... why are you nice to me? When I have nowhere to go?" he asked.

"We are nice to you because we think of the children who were abandoned as if they were our child." Nana said happily. "Who would ever abandon their child? I wouldn't."

Tears filled up his eyes, not wanting to burden the warm family right here. Nana noticed him trying to cry although he held it in to not show his shameful self. She hugged him suddenly, surprising Cielo. He felt the warm feeling, not able to hold it any longer, he cried endlessly. Nana patted him, he sniffed after all the crying and went to sleep in her arms.

"Oyasumi." Nana lastly said.

Cielo sleeping peacefully. She asked Iemitsu to carry Cielo to one of the guest rooms.

Cielo (Tsuna): Geh! I was crying?!

Me: Of course, who wouldn't when they are abandoned?

Cielo (Tsuna): Un. I agree....

Me: Yay! I'll treat you for today! What do you want?

Cielo: Um... Macarons and two slices of strawberry cakes... *puppy eyes mode on*

Me: Okay.... There goes my money allowance.... *crying mentally*
