It was nearing 2 in the morning, yet you were still wide awake. You decided to go for a walk a few minutes ago and here you were. You knew that if your mother awoke at anytime during your walk that she would flip at you for being away at the dead of night. Then you would say, "But mom, it is morning though." You giggle at the thought. Sure, your mother was a bit too over protective and whatnot but you loved her for it. She was your rock, and you would do anything for her. You were a pair, just could not be separate. Left and right. Ying and yang. You get the point.

Your neighborhood was quite the peculiar one. On one side resided the kind, sweet elderly, and on the other was the rest. At the and of the street was the most strange house. A small house, yet eerily quiet. In it lived an old woman, one that you've had terrible experiences with before, but you decided not to think about that. Let the dead bury the dead. Although, you were curios if she still lived there, or even was alive. She was at least in her 80's when you were a kid. Whatever, I really don't care about her anyway.

It's been nearly 30 minutes since you left your house. You began to feel like someone was watching you, observing every move you made. You look around your eyes detecting a slight movement, just beyond the bushes leading in to the forest. "Hello?" No answer. Huh, might just be an animal or my imagination. However you could've sworn you saw a grinning mouth, the canines as sharp as knives. But, you were known as the imaginative one. You shrugged it off and continued on.

By the time it was three you had returned home, awfully early, but you had school in the morning. You went up the stairs and brushed your teeth, also changing in to your sleep clothes. then you headed to your room.
Eventually, you fell asleep.

~6:00~

You awoke almost thirty minutes before your alarm went off to what you swore was a growl. Your (dog/cat), Cesar, was no where to be seen. you called him but he didn't come. You looked back at your clock. It still said six. What? How can that be possible. You hopped out of bed and grabbed your laptop. As soon as you touched it, Cesar ran into your room and your clock read 6:05. You decided to ignore it, thinking that you were just making loud noises and that caught Cesar's attention. As for the clock, well maybe you were just standing there for a longer time than yo thought, that can happen, right?

You decided to get ready for school early, that way you didn't have to rush as bad as you usually do. Hey, you liked to get every single second of sleep you could. You showered, did your hair and changed clothes.By the time you were done, you decided that you still had time for breakfast. After you ate you saw that it was time to go to the bus stop. You then noticed that there was a note on the fridge.

"Hey, baby, Got the day shift. See you later, 9:00, here's some money for pizza.  ~Mom"

You smiled sadly. The hospital worked her too much. "Well, that's what nurses do, sweetie," is all that she said about it when you were younger. You glanced and noticed that the clock said 6:55. Five whole minutes before your bus came. But-

"You'd think you would be thanking me by now, stopping time and all."
