All I need is a drink.
After yesterday I didn't talk to anyone .. Not my dad, 'Mom', or Jadarius
When I entered my aunts house after work, my auntie was on the couch knitting, watching Good Times.
"Hey TeeTee." I said tiredly.
"Hey, Chile. How was work ?" she said sounding so country, being that's she's from Memphis it most definitely had its affects.
"It was good. I got in and got out.. Like normal." I said putting my stuff in the coat closet.
"That's good." she said and I nodded walking upstairs.
"Where's Myka?"
"At Angle's place." I nodded and continued up the stairs.
I walked into my bedroom. I took out the white wine in my mini - fridge sitting it to the side while I walked back downstairs to get a wine cup.
I poured me a glass and turned on PartyNextDoor.
A hot bath sounded cool so I went in my bathroom and ran the water adding bubble's, placing candles in the corner of the tub and dimming the lights while GrownWoman by PartyNextDoor played.
Stripping my clothes till I was butt bone naked and stepped in the tub sliding down where half of my hair was in the water and my knees poking out .
I was thinking about if I was too harsh, but being it has been a little after nine years of thinking the favorite person who had my heart was dead. If you was to live my life you'd be so confused.. My live wasn't bad ever but it did have its complications. Ion ever give a damn about another human being if it ain't my baby sister, I didn't ask them to come in my life, hell I didn't even ask for my life. So here I am feeling like shit--- again.
All my life anything I felt was confusion, after my mother was supposedly killed I didn't understand anything in the world until my aunt came into the picture and help me be the woman I am today.
But, its been like fuck it. I have a successful dream. I'm an online college student and I study for Business Major .. I have three jobs that I bust my ass for @Kiesha's Salon, Brinks Library and , part time manager at Dollie's .. I get paid well at each job, it ain't like I'm broke .. I'm not in millions yet with my own money but I am in my fathers money , I put all the money he gave me in my safe .
My phone started ringing but I ignored it, like I said. Fuck everybody and they mama.
"Aye" Jah said coming through the bathroom door while I was still soaking in the tub.
"How you get in and why are you in here?" I stared at the bath wall, picking up my glass sipping off it.
"Ya antie, then she left and said she had to work over night " he stood in the frame.
"Why you here though ?" I sat the glass down on the edge of the tub.
"Ya poppa said tah come check on ya so I did ."
"I'm grown as fuck, you can leave." I dismissed him waving him off.
"Nah, I wanna chill witchu. " he folded his arms.
