Mesut's POV
"How's it with Anna here?" Pepe asked, putting an arm around me. We all walked to our cars together after practice.
"Oh yeah. Irina is so excited she's here. She really wants to meet her." Cris commented.
"She's really good. I could bring her around again."
"We could actually have a dinner instead. The club I mean. And invite Irina." Sergio spoke up. I couldn't help but smirk.
"That's a great idea!" I scotched closer to Sergio and wrapped my arm around him. He wiggled his eyebrows, laughed and playfully tackled me.
"How is she?" He asked, trying to brush off that he didn't really cared to know. He merely stared at the ground in front of his feet.
"She's greeeaaatt." I emphasized. Sergio smirked and then nudged my head. My phone vibrated.
"Well speak of the devil." Then I answered it, "Hallo meine liebe." I greeted.
"MEZZY! Where in the heck do you live? I'm soo lost!" She shrieked.
"Calm down! Where are you?"
"In front of a big yellow mansion. Thank The Lord the daughter was a fan. And my GPS died so I'm stuck.."
Mesut and I started to snicker.
"MEZZY IT'S NOT FUNNY!" She started to shout but burst out into laugther. Sergio took my phone.
"Hey Anna, it's Sergio." He turned it on speaker phone.
"Hi." She said. I could tell in her voice she was happy to hear him. He could tell too. He smiled so big.
"What's next to that house?"
"A small lake, a bright blue house and a couple more." Then he turned to me.
"That's close to the stadium!" He told me.
"Really? Good!" She said.
"But wait your GPS died. How are you going to get here?" He questioned.
"Hmm wait! Thank god their son is a huge soccer fan!" We both heard her scurry somewhere. Then we heard a muffled voices.
"It's 4 miles away!!" She said into the phone.
"Good! Get your butt here." I took the phone.
"Yes sir." She said sassily, "Getting in my car now."
"Great. But ugh. I just can't leave you alone in a foreign land." I teased.
She sighed. "Hey what are we eating tonight?" I gave Sergio a crazy look and we both laughed.
"You're hungry already?"
"HEY NOW! You know I'm a fat ass. It hasn't changed Mesut." Sergio was cracking up beside me.
"We are going out to eat with the team. And Irina wants to meet you."
"Cool!" She said cheerily, "The whole team?"
"Yup." I said popping the p.
"Great!!" She said excitedly. Then we said quickly goodbyes and hung up.
"Well have fun with dealing with Anna. I'm going to go wash up."
I nodded my head and hugged Sergio.
"Bye!" And he waved at me and went to his car.
A couple minutes later Anna popped up. She ran out of her car to me.
