Aliyah felt a sense of purpose as she glided through the foliage looking for anything to amuse her. Scanning the area it seemed she got her wish when a foreign male wolf scent was carried in the wind. Pulling her top lip back in an instinctive snarl, she slipped into an easy crouch and stalked forward towards the alien scent.
Ambling towards it, she started going over reasons as to why a wolf would purposely come into HER territory. After a moment of thought she came to the conclusion that the only plausible reason why a male would be here, would be to claim her as their mate. Those males where always trying to make her their mate, she wasn’t beautiful and well known for nothing.
Unlike her brother, the kind and gentle one that in her opinion was just pathetic and weak. If it was up to him every wolf would be able to traipse in and use up all the resources and space, just for the silly notion of giving them refuge. He was such a pathetic little creature, wanting peace and not having any desire to fight what so ever, just proved her point. Her next thought was cut off when the mysterious scent got closer and reacting quickly she spun round bent over in an instinctual crouch.
“Who’s there?” Taking a deep breath to take in his scent her eyes dilated as she concluded that yes this was defiantly a male scent and an arrogant one at that.
A male amused chuckle answered. “You are the resident werewolf here, am I correct?” His voice was set in a low husky pitch that almost affected her.
Snarling she spat out, “Yes I am the Alpha, now tell me why you are here!”
A figure materialised within the bush as he finally replied “I am on a journey to find my mate”
Tossing her hair over her shoulder in a sexy manner she replied haughtily “Another one to claim me as their mate, well sorry but you can’t claim me I submit to no one”
Silence was her reply.
Eyes darkening with annoyance she deepened her crouch but before she could do anything he was suddenly in front of her with speed she had never seen before, causing her to take an involuntary step back. Gold/green eyes stared her down she had to fight the instinct to bare her teeth, stiffening as she heard him take a deep breath. Then in almost mocking amusement he smirked at her.
“Just as I thought, no threat” He said in a voice that would have weak woman flush “Anyway, who said you’re my mate?”
“How dare you!” Aliyah growled dangerously as her eyes narrowed into slits. “Don’t make the mistake of underestimating me!”
Her only answer was a chuckle as the unknown male melted into the shadows; the only thing left of his presence was the unique scent.
Aliyah was in a rage as she stomped her way home, a big house on the outskirts of town. The house once belonged to her parents, but they’re long dead now. Her mind mercifully pushed those memories aside, it’s all in the past now.
Opening the front door she was greeted by her smiling brother.
“Hello how was your trip?”
Sneering she lashed out and hit him in the stomach, winding him.
“Did it not go satisfactory?” he wheezed.
Scowl prominent on her features she spun round and round-house kicked him again making him crumple to the cold, hard floor.
“Don’t pretend to care for me; I’m sure you’re hoping the new rouge will dominate me”
Cradling his stomach and struggling to stand he replies surprised “What new rouge?”
