"Sorry, Gyeom, I'm needed. I have to go now. Bye,"

The phone call was as quick to end as it had started, causing Yugyeom to let out a deep sigh. Getting the chance to hear the other's voice was hard enough as it is with his everyday schedule, the fact that BamBam doesn't really do anything to make an effort to contact Yugyeom just makes the younger male feel even worse.

Also, the idea that Yugyeom would be turning eighteen in a few weeks was bothering him. He and BamBam have been together for years, ever since they were thirteen. They've celebrated each other's birthday together every single year and this year, he just doesn't know what to feel if BamBam doesn't show up.

Yugyeom doesn't blame him, though. By the time he had turned seventeen, BamBam had shown the world his incredible talent for fashion and modeling. It was natural that he has a jam-packed schedule. It wasn't his fault he has to go to a different country every other day, stay there for weeks at most and barely get any rest. It's his passion, anyways, and Yugyeom will support him no matter what.

Yugyeom doesn't think he's really talented at anything. He loves dancing but he doubts that he would ever be at the level of world-class dancers. He knows that he is talented, BamBam has convinced him of it, (after a lot of persuasion and sweet talk) but that talent just isn't the same as BamBam's talent for styling.

How he even got BamBam, he had no idea.

He looks at his phone again, that was just lying on the table, thousands of questions running through his head. He missed BamBam terribly, but he knew that he was really busy and shouldn't be disturbed. But eventually, his desire to talk to BamBam overpowers everything else and he grabs his phone and with trembling fingers, dials BamBam's number.

"Hello? Yugyeom, is that you?"
"BamBam-ah," he says into the phone, his voice cracking. "You have a minute?"

Honestly, he's surprised BamBam even picked up. Just ten minutes ago, he hung up on him because he said he was needed. Yugyeom thought that the chances of him to pick up was one percent out of a hundred.

"Um... Hold on, I'll ask,"

In the background, Yugyeom can hear BamBam shouting to someone in English. He can barely understand any other language aside from Korean. Sure, he knew a bit, but not to the Thai boy's extent that he was practically fluent in English, Chinese and a ton of other languages. He hears BamBam shout a thank you and picks up the phone again.

"Five minutes at the very most. What is it?"

Five minutes is more than enough. These days, their conversations only last one and half minutes to two. Getting five minutes to talk with BamBam was a miracle.

"I just..."

Now that he was talking with him, he has no idea what he wants to say. He missed BamBam, that was a given. But does he have anything else to say? Or does he just want to hear BamBam's voice?

"I missed you, Yugyeom,"

Just when Yugyeom was going to say something, BamBam beats him to it, which he was somewhat thankful for. Then a long stream of words starts flowing into his ear in the older boy's sweet voice. How he missed Yugyeom, how he was sorry for not being able to contact him.

"But why didn't you?" Yugyeom interrupts BamBam's speech. "Why didn't you contact me? I was waiting for you,"
"I'm really sorry, Gyeom," BamBam apologizes again, using Yugyeom's nickname. "They really wouldn't let me!"
"You could have sneaked off, or at least hid somewhere. Calling me wouldn't even take a minute of your time. Just a simple hello, how are you?, that would have been fine! You-"
"Let's not fight, Yugyeom. Please." BamBam pleads with him, cutting him off. "I'm only staying here a few days longer. I promise, when I get back, I'll head straight from the airport to see you," A surge of guilt immediately rushes into Yugyeom's chest and his anger immediately deflates.
"No, don't. You deserve your rest." he says.
"Seeing you is enough," BamBam insists. "Besides, I can always rest on the flight back."
