+Matilda's POV+
So today we moved into our new home and to be honest I'm not sure whether I like this. This village seems trouble, all the bad things I've heard about, all the murders, all the teenage pregnancies, at least my Henry's safe.
By now it was 5pm, we were going out to the Dog on the pond for our evening meal, we have to go out we have no food in our home, also it's our first night so we may as well make it memorable.
As my family gathered by the door, we waited for Esma to hurry up with her hair and makeup.
Finally she had finished doing that, so we left for the pub.
As we arrived, the pub was basically full, just one table left for us. The Joseph's.
As we sat down, Jack and Esma went up to the bar to order drinks.

I really hate family outings, it's not my thing, I was kinda embarrassed of my family, an over protective mother, a father I hardly see, a borig sister, and a posh brother, then there's me...
I went up to the bar to order drinks, I wanted a vodka and coke but my mum says I'm not responsible enough to drink. Why?!
Whilst I waited for the drinks alone, I felt someone come near me, breathing on me.
"Hey look, I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't mean to be rude or anything..." The boy from earlier said, Robbie I think.
Oh not him again, he seems like a thug, but a hot one...
"Hmm bet your sorry." I said bluntly
He put his arm around my shoulders and I flinched. Could this be trouble 😭
