Gone!

Do you think it’s funny?

To bully and tease.

You forced her to hide,

Behind the oak trees.

On the way home,

That’s where she hid.

You called her names,

Yet she was just a kid.

You didn’t even think

What the consequences might be.

She was only eleven,

Slightly younger than me.

She went home after school,

Hid in her room and cried.

She was alone and upset,

Had no one by her side.

No one expected

It would come down to this.

A letter was found,

Signed off with a kiss.

She explained how she felt,

Depressed and hated.

She felt she was useless,

Just moaned at and slated.

Everyone found out,

The teachers were told.

She was extremely talented,

A treasure of gold.

So now she is gone,

Nothing will change that.

I hope this makes you think,

It’s not funny to be laughed at.
