Chapter 4

>>January 10 2010 *Alyssa's Point Of View

I walked through the halls to a whole bunch of "Heys" and "Alyssssa!" I smiled I hated this attention it gets annoying my friends think it's cool but I hate it.. I'm not the type to constantly get attention back when I was younger I was an outcast a person people were told to be nice to or else their parents would be called in. I lost weight got better at basketball and got accepted to a d one school. They just want their name in my head incase I become famous and can loan them money their were only three people I trusted Flo who is my long time best friend, Tori who likes me for me and giving bands a try, and Luise he was friend since freshman year who got me to come the Mac this year.

I got called down to the office all that went through my mind was can I go home can I go home.

"There she is the superstar who'll lead us to victory!" I laughed as Principal Granger announced.

"I'm not that great honest."

"Oh pish posh anyways we have a new student I would like for you to show her around because all your classes are together."

"Sounds good." I gave a thumbs up.

A girl who looked like a tumblr girl ripped black skinny jeans, black combat boots, and a band t that read Twenty One Pilots. We walked through the hall and she asked me a question that made me stop in my tracks.

"So you're  not one of those jocks who'll bully me then act like my friend to make it look like you're all sweet are you?"

"No oh my god I hate the stereotypical jock.. It makes everyone who isn't mean at all look bad and it sucks.." I groan and walk to class. 

I should've brought up the band but I didn't I'll save that for another day. I mean plus Tori was coming over after school to watch some new music video by Panic!

The bell rang finally no practice today, no homework just fun.

I got home and noticed Sierra pulled up into the house next to mine. Her family must've bought the house next to mine. I shrugged it off and went inside mine and changed into something more comfy than my jeans. I put on leggings and a Twenty One Pilots shirt Josh gave me before I left. I texted him for the first time smiling.

A: Hey Josh it's alyssa 

J: Oh hey I was wondering when I was going to get a text from you.

A: Hey school just ended don't blame the law for making me go.

J: You technically don't have to go

A: Whatever you still in town?

J: Yeah why?

A: Want to come over?

J: How do you know I don't have a show?

A: Because there we're no tickets for today's date smart one.

J: Ha looks  like you're the smart on. But yeah I dont mind coming over.

A: Sick as frick! okay i'll let you go so you can do whatever see you soon.

I smiled I guess Josh is someone else I can trust he doesn't really know that much about me but I feel since he's becoming famous he wouldn't treat anyone else different.

"ALYSSA OPEN THE DAMN DOOR." It's Tori I say to myself laughing.

"Well hello my brunette companion." I say doing a stupid pose opening the door.

"Hey idiotic band lover." she said laughing.

"Heyyy you're the one who got me into them. Oh and hope you don't mind I invited someone to join us."

"The new girl next door?"

"No I don't even know her that well. Anyways Joshua will be joining us." Tori's jaw dropped after I said those words.

"No fucking way."

"Yessssss way."

There was a knock on my door.

"Hello Joshua."

"Hello Aly." a smile crept onto his face seeing me in the doorway.

"So I do have the right house I thought the Christmas lights would be taken down from a smart person's home." He laughed

"Oh shush. My parent's and siblings went to Florida for Disney."

"Without you?"


"Yes state is coming up soon and I don't plan on missing the game."

"Yeah it's at her school this year you should come Josh."

"Sounds like a plan when?"

"Febuary thirteenth." Tori smiles.

"Our tour ends next week cool I'll be there same with Tyler."
