Kaiden watched as Soran was lifted into the air by dark magic. The magic had picked up Rena as well and Soran took hold of her. "I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but it has and you all will be killed for it."

"That's no fair!" Serena yelled. "You were controlling the creatures and made them attack us! That's cheating!"

Kaiden gave her a look to tell her to be quiet. He didn't want to anger Soran even more. Death by a crazy guy wasn't on his bucket list.

"I was going to tell you why your name was similar to Rena's." Soran said. Kaiden didn't know how he learnt their names, but he did. "If you lived."

Serena's hands were quickly on fire. "You will tell before I blast you away like Team Rocket!"

Kaiden mentally face palmed at the Pokemon reference that only they would understand. Soran was giving them a weird look that clearly meant he didn't understand.

"I guess it would be fun to watch you die knowing the truth." Soran said finally. He pointed at Serena, "You are an alternative Rena. The gods here are gods, no atheism here. They had plans for this princess but I ruined it-"

"How do you know what atheism is but not Pokemon?" Serena asked, interrupting him.

Silence fell as the question was being thought about. How would he know? Rena did say that he was from some place else. Could it be that Soran was an Other as well?

Soran continued talking, "But I ruined the gods' plans by taking over Tierra. I'm not from this world, nor yours." He answered Kaiden's silent question. "But there is magic from where I come from. Serena, is an alternate Rena in case the gods' plans don't work. That's why the portal opened and took you three, though the younger wasn't suppose to come. She has no meaning here, that's why I wasn't going to kill her. That's why the hellhound never attacked her."

Kaiden hugged Pacific when he saw that she was hurt by Soran's words. He held her tight. "You have meaning to me. I'm glad you came." He whispered to her. Pacific hugged back, burrying her face into his shoulder.

After awhile Pacific looked up at Soran. "What did the gods want with Kaiden though?" She asked.

Soran smiled. "He's the alternate me."

Silence returned as everyone took in this information. "By Sun's name how do you know all this?" Rena asked.

Soran continued smiling. "Because it's written doctrine."

Rena frowned. "We don't have..."

"It's from my world." Soran said. "We control the magic in every world. Over seers over everything. That's why my magic so powerful and great."

Kaiden frowned. He stood up straight and pointed at Soran. "So you had power in your own world but you come here wanting more? Why?"

Soran frowned. "No one has power when everybody has magic. Hierarchy is a lie there."

Kaiden could feel the anger inside grow. He had threaten his sister's life, probably to turn her into a slave is he and Serena were killed. On top of that he threatened Serena's and Rena's life. Love mixed in with his anger and he couldn't feel the heat from Rena's necklace was growing.

Rena couldn't believe what Soran had relieved. The strange power hungry man was out to get more. But a world to control all worlds? That was...Rena didn't know what to think about it.

She wanted to know more, but now wasn't the time to ask questions.

Being held up in the air by dark magic wasn't fun and Rena was afraid she would fall. But she felt a pull to Kaiden, a strong one. But also something was pushing into her that warmed her insides.

Magic.

Rena knew that's what the feeling was. It had to be. Kaiden's magic was heating up and could burst at any moment like it did for her.

"Enough chit-chat now." Soran said, breaking her thoughts. He swung a dark magic whip at the Others.

Rena watched helplessly as her friends fought back. Her main focus was on Kaiden, waiting for his magic to come out and save Tierra from Soran.

Is he was the alternate Soram, another version the the tyrant, would killing him hurt Kaiden? Rena didn't want to find out and she couldn't from where she was any ways.

Soran seemed to distracted to notice that Kaiden's skin was giving off a faint glow. Rena silently prayed to the gods to help Kaiden.

She watched as Serena shot fire at Soran. This girl, this other version of Rena, this amazed Rena. The girl could use her magic so well, and it came quickly to her. She was the opposite of Rena in that way and in looks.

She looked back at Kaiden who was glowing even more then before. And she knew Soran had taken noticed as his efforts were turned to Kaiden.

Rena's heart raced as Kaiden tried to fight back.

But then it happened.

Rena had never seen it before but knew what it was like.

She watched as he was lifted into the air and white light surrounded him. Soran was mad as his magic shifted to form a giant black wolf.

The white magic also took the form as a wolf, which Rena didn't expect to happen. The two wolves started to fight in mid air. She could see that Kaiden was giving it his all, trying to defeat Soran.

Soran was fighting back too with all his power, but since he had been using it far longer the Kaiden had, he wasn't has strong, even if he was from an all powerful world. Magic drains energy with use.

Rena knew that Kaiden was using love to power his magic, which made it stronger then the hate that filled Soran's magic.

Kaiden had pushed Soran back at this point and Soran was weak. Rena watched as Soran's magic left his body and he fell to the ground, along with Rena.

Kaiden wasn't in the wolf, just controlling it. He moved and caught Rena before she could hit the ground and get hurt.

The white wolf started to speak. "Soran, you have abused your powers for far too long and we have decided to revoke them from you. You will return to us for your punishment."

Soran looked up from his place on the ground and frowned. "You can't take my powers away! I-"

He was cut off by the wolf picking him up then swallowing him whole. Rean watched fro Kaiden's arms as the wolf disappeared.

Kaiden landed on the ground and set Rena down. The light had left and Kaiden was about to fall over when Rena caught him. She gently laid him down on the ground, his head in her lap. He was awake and smiling up at her. "I guess I did have magic..."

Rena nods. "I knew it. I knew it since the moment I saw, when I first felt a pull to you."

"Really?" He breathed in his weak form. "Because I felt a pull to you as well. I guess that means something."

"We have the same magic, you and I. We could do great things together." Rena whispered.

Kaiden gave a weak nod. "I would like that."
