Deep breath,
Blow it out,
Resist the painful urge to shout,
Scream,
Break,
Let it free,
Give to the world to see,
This is the broken,
This is the pain,
Deep inside,
We're all insane,
Let loose your lies,
Make it rain,
Hide behind a smile,
But you can't hide your soul,
I see you,
I see your holes,
I see the way,
You carry yourself,
Bent from the weight,
Of everyone else,
Yet the world thinks,
We've come so far,
Prejudice,
Discrimination,
Hate,
What is it,
That makes it great?
Travel,
Cars,
Space,
Tech,
But what of the kids,
That hang from their necks?
What of the ones,
Who sit in the rain,
Begging to wash away the pain?
Why do we turn,
Such a blind eye,
To the ones that cut,
and starve,
and die?
Millions of deaths each year,
due to hate,
pain,
sadness,
fear,
Please,
I beg you,
Lend a hand,
Stand up,
Speak out,
Take a stand.
