Prologue: Am I Alseep

Heeloo!! This is my first story it is edited all chapters will be and I'll try to update at least once every two weeks or every week depending on my schedule! So here is the prologue and I hope you like and there will be more than seventeen chapters and each chapter will be over 2,500+ words long! Prologue will not be long though. Hope you enjoy!!

I have this nightmare.... I can't tell if I am awake or asleep because of how realistic it is... Mostly I only get glimpses of my nightmare... I know for a fact it is a nightmare because I wake up in a cold sweat thinking which is real? Am I living a nightmare? Or am I in the real world? Or is there really ever a real world? I don't know and I am terrified to find out.

My name is Eren Jaeger. I am German, but I do not live in Germany. I used to though, I now live in the United States in the state of Florida. One of the sunniest and rainiest states in the U.S. I found life hard mostly because my mother died on my birthday also in front of my eyes and my father is sorta abusive and rapist... I make sure he doesn't touch a hair on my sister head. Her name is Mikasa Ackerman. She is my adopted sister who is overprotective.

I don't call myself emo, but I pretty much am... I cut, I'm suicidal. I try to kill myself... Unless my father beats me to it that is... I'd,say I'm insane mostly because yesterday when I got my daily beating from my father and bullies I just started to laugh.... Insanely...

As of this moment I am siting in my classroom looking out the window. Umm... Yeah I seat in the corner last seat by the window... I didn't pick this seat, I was assigned to it! I don't have many friends beside this kid named Armin and Mikasa. Armin Alert is his full name and only because we're friends is because we're both nerds... We love nature and the world around us... Just not the people surrounding us in this beautiful world..

" Alright class in Eighth period will be a pep rally for our basket ball team, The Titans! So remember to take all your things when the bell goes off for eighth period and I'll see you guys in the Gym!!" My teacher, Hanji said the bell rang soon after her announcement." Eren please stay here." My teacher said. We had five minutes to go to our lockers then five more minutes to get to class so most kids just hang in the halls till the bell ring to get to your class. I nodded slowly not really caring at the moment.

Mrs. Hanji is my favorite teacher. She knows my problem, but I made her promise not to tell the authorities or anyone else about it until I'm ready to face my dad. She walked up to me after all the kids left just leaving me and her." Are you ready to call eren?" She asked... That the first thing she would ask everyday." N-no... I-I am to scared right n-now." I said... Damnit I stuttered. She looked at me sadly..." Okay, but Eren you'll going to have to call the authorities soon you still have two more years of school and half a year before you can leave and I'm scared that your father might do something horrible to you between those time periods." Mrs. Hanji said.

I nodded..." I just don't know...." I said calmly as I could." Stay here for the pep rally with me and the seniors okay?" She asked I swallowed a large gulp of nothing." I-i-i have to stay with the Seniors!!!!?!!! But I'm like the perfect punching bag I'm a freshmen!!!" I said grabbing my hair breathing loudly and abnormally. Hanji gave me a sad look." If they give you a bad time tell me or if I spot them doing something bad I'll send them to principle Erwin.

I started to think for a moment.." Hey, um Mrs. Hanji? Doesn't Mr. Ackerman come here for eighth period to make sure all the kids stay in check and to help kids falling behind?" I asked with a tint of fear in my voice.. She nodded and soon kids started filing in... period..

Hope you like this it wasn't hard to write and I hope no errors were found! Sorry if you were hoping for a long chapter, but I'm just really anxious to publish this so this is a short prologue.
