Prequel

"Come on Jessica! You're going to miss the first snowfall of the whole season!" Violet shouts as she runs outside. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" Jessica screams, as she puts on her white winter hat and her blue jacket and runs outside. Snow was everywhere! Frost was covering the windows. It was really pretty outside, with the white snowflakes making a little fog outside. Violet and Jessica made a snowman. Everybody was having a great time. Violet hit Jessica right smack in the face with a snowball. "I'm going to get you for that!" Jessica said as she starts chasing Violet. Violet was running as fast as she could in the snow, so was Jessica. There was a crack, and they immediately stopped running. Violet was under some unexpected ice, and it was cracking. Jessica had to think of a way to save her younger sister, before she got hurt. "I'm scared." Violet says. "You're gonna be ok. Just don't move." Jessica says. She sees a tree branch near her, and she grabs it. It was oddly shaped, with a hook-like shape on the end of it. She used that and said "Grab on." Her sister, frightened and in panic, grabs on. Jessica quickly pulls her across the ice. Violet and Jessica switch places. Violet makes it across the ice, but Jessica wasn't so lucky. She slips into the ice, and falls into the cold water.
