chapter 6

Jaces pov

I was waiting in the basement for luca to call me and he did just that. He came stomping in and told me to prepare dessert and do it quick so as usual I got straight to it. Once I had prepared the dessert I went into the dining room with as many plates as I could carry and single handedly handed out all the packs desserts while they all watched but as I walked in I smelt him and a blush instantly rose onto my cheeks. I served him his dessert and scampered out of the room but not fast enough as I heard luca ask the man if he wants anything else with which he replied Ill have a piece of that pointing at me and all the unmated pack she wolves faces dropped which caused me to giggle and snicker as I ran as fast as I could to the basement and locked the door and went and sat down thinking hard about the man I had just seen. The peace was short lived as I could hear his heavy footsteps coming towards the basement and then he knocked rather loudly on the door. However I didnt move and I could hear him growing impatient. The power radiating off of him confirmed that he was an alpha and the thought of this petrified me. It was the next thing that frightened me the most as he used his alpha voice and commanded me to open the door but this made me whimper and I scampered to the door and opened it. At the sight of my mate my heart filled with joy but realisation hit me that he will most likely reject me and just as fast as it was there it was gone again. I broke into sobs and my knees grew week as I began to fall to the floor I braced myself for the impact but it never came instead I was scooped up into a strong pair of arms and the sparks exploded.
For the first time in years I plucked up the confidence to speak.
"Pp.lea.se" I sobbed.
"Please what baby" he said.
"Please d.ont rrreject me"
I begged sobbing louder.
"Baby I would never reject you" he said and with that my sobbing immediately stopped and turned into little hiccups as I stared into his eyes. My eyes flicked between his eyes and his lips as I imagined my lips on his. I unintentionally started to lean in but I didnt have the courage to fully kiss him so my lips hovered over his until he snaked his hand around my neck and slammed his lips to mine. I was in euphoria as the sparks exploded between us. He asked for entrance by licking my bottom lip so I denied. He didnt take this very well and grabbed my butt with his hands and hauled me up into his arms as my legs automatically wrapped around his waist. I gasped and he ceased the opprtunity and slipped his tongue into my mouth. Things started to get heated so I pulled back and snuggled my head into the crook of his kneck. He chuckled at this and a blush dusted my cheeks as I felt his body vibrate. He then sauntered to his room with me wrapped around him like a koala. He had picked up a pair of my pjs and I went and got changed into them in the bathroom. When I came back he was stripping down to his boxers and I could have drooled at the sight of his well toned 8 pack and the apparent growing bulge in his boxers. As I saw this I dove under the covers and was quickly followed by a pair of arms that encircled my whole body as he dragged my body into himself spooning me. His warmth radiated off of him and I was starting to slip into dreamland but before I fell asleep completely his voice rang in my ears.
"What's your name" he asked me. I replied "jace matthew burrows" proud of myself for not stuttering. Then he spoke
"Well im Michael james Espinoza and your mine my beautiful baby" and with that I fell asleep with michael by my side and for the first time in years I slept peacefully.
