"GET OFF THE COUCH YA LAZY BUM!"
Seven year old Aila was used to hearing things like this.
"All I want to do is color..." Aila said to herself, shading in Strawberry Shortcake's hair. "Why do they have to fight like this everyday?"
"The Why'd you turn off the TV?!" Aila's father shouted, making a big deal out of it--as usual.
"You need to get a job." Annie said.
"I told ya, I'm looking!"
"Wait, so you just sit here on the couch and just hope that a commercial for a job comes on?"
There was no answer. Obviously, that was exactly what her father was doing. He is a lazy bum.
