Hey hey! So this is the story I'll be writing for Tay's (hi Tay! You're awesome btw) Holiday Challenge and I'm sooo excited for it!
The story is set in Paris (well kinda) and the protagonists will be French (and their names ofc) because I'm obssessed with everything French and I just had to bring it up in one of my stories.

[Extended summary]
Laure Moreau made a promise and she's one to keep her promises. After her grandma's sudden death, she is determined to fulfil her last wish. With the help of said grandma's (handsome) neighbour, she kidnaps the ashes to bring them to Palermo, Italy.
Struggling with grief and her developing feelings for a certain neighbour, Laure discovers that a road trip can help with closure in more than one aspect.
It's a long way from Paris to Palermo, enough time to pass by adventure, self-acceptance and maybe even love?
