~October 31st~

Knock knock. Dominic glanced at his watch. Its 4:45 in the afternoon and she's earlier than usual. "Uh I'll be there!" He quickly ran around the room making sure he is not forgetting anything. As he grabbed his keys he stole a quick glance at the mirror. "You can do this Dom! This is your second chance."

He finally opened the door and found her standing there rather impatiently. "Hey Kim, you are surprisingly early," he told her as he leaned in for a hug.

Kimberly put her hands up stopping the hug from happening. "Are you complaining?"

"No! No, I'm just surprise that's all. Maybe I'm a little nervous."

"Mmhmm," was all she said before turning around. "Let's get this over with." She turned around and head for the building's main door. He quickly locked the door to his dorm room and followed behind her. He was nervous that is for sure. He wants to make everything right. He wants her to see just how sincere his feelings are for her and that he is full of regret for the heartache he had caused her.

They both reached his car and he opened the door for her. "I'm really happy that you're doing this."

"Don't make me regret it." She looked at him square in the eyes before entering the car. He quickly ran to his side and entered.

"I've got a nice night planned ahead for us," he turned to her and smiled. "I hope it is not going to be too chilly though."

"I think it's the perfect night. It is All Hallows Eve after all."

"I really hope you still feel that way at the end of the night."

They reached the movie theatres and Kimberly opted to watch a scary movie. "What? Where is your Halloween spirit," she shrugged her shoulders in response to the weird look he gave her.

"Just a little out of character that's all," he said her.

He didn't say anything else, what is there to complain about? Scary movie means on scary parts she comes in closer for comfort. That's exactly what she did, one scary part near the beginning and she stayed cuddled up with him throughout the whole movie. It made him feel good; everything is going well so far.

When the movie finished, he drove out to one of the nicest restaurant in town, Riviera, where he made sure to get a reservation several days before the date. It was a little fancy and it is for sure going to take a big bite out of his pocket but he kept telling himself that it was all going to be worth it. They were taken to their seats and they made their orders. Sirloin steak for her and shrimp scampi for himself. The dinner was kinda going well except they didn't really talk. Dominic struggled trying to find conversation topics before giving up and focusing on eating.

"So, want to talk about it?" She looked up at him from her plate.

Dominic also looked up like a deer caught in a headlights. "Uhm, talk about what exactly?" He was a little hesitant. He was hoping that that topic wouldn't come up tonight.

"Why did you do it?" She pushed around the potatoes on her plate.

He took a sip of his drink, unsure what to say. "Didn't I already tell you?"

"Well let me hear it again."

"Well, I was really drunk that night. I didn't even know what happened until the morning." He sigh as he remembered her first initial reaction when he had told her that. "Kim, I know I was wrong. But I promise you it really won't happen again." He wondered just how desperate he was sounding.

"I believe you."

"Wait what?"

"I said I believe you," she smiled at him as she popped a potato in her mouth. Dominic looked at her incredulously and she laughed at his expression.
