Pre-Face
*Isabella's POV*
So many people these days worry about how they look, when they will get asked out on a date next, is the pimple on their face ever going to go away, while I'm worrying about who's going to bully me next.
You see I'm not the prettiest girl around. I've been referred to as trash. Do I care? Heck No!
The only thing that infuriates me is that people bully me. I mean come on! Just because I'm not pretty doesn't mean you need to make my life miserable.
But I guess no one really cares. It's sort of my fault because I basically hand it to them on a platter. I'm ugly (according to the student body), I'm the smartest girl in school, and my parents are freakin' rich.
But the last one doesn't matter because your parents have to be rich to get in to the very snobby and rich high school, Academy Hills.
At first in eighth grade no one bothered or noticed me due to my ability to blend into the background.
But that all changed the day I came crying home because my crush since 7th grade, Blake Harrison, publicly rejected and humiliated in front of the whole school.
*RECAP*
"Just go!" Trish said to me. “No way am I asking him out!" I said. Trish and Jackie both gave me mad faces. “Besides the assembly is about to start", I blurted out as I watched the whole school passing through the fancy doors into the auditorium.
"You know you want to, so just do it!" Jackie, my other best friend, urged. You see my best friends, Trish and Jackie, are the only ones who know I’m madly in love with Blake.
Ever since they found out they have turned into little matchmakers, and it's starting to get on my nerves.
Now they wanted me to ask him out right now because his usually posse wasn’t around.
“If you want me to ask him out so bad, go ahead and do it for me!” I practically screamed in their faces.
“Sheesh,” Trish muttered under her breath. “Fine I’ll go,” Jackie announced.
And she turned around and started making her way to Blake. Just as I was about to yell I was kidding, the principal told everyone to begin taking their seats.
As I saw her walking, I felt a uneasy feeling rising in me and my hands started shaking. But it was too late. Jackie was already beginning to talk to Blake.
Then the worst thing in my life happened. At the moment I looked up from my shaking hands, I caught eyes with Blake.
The had a mischievous shimmer in them and then he immediately began to talk in a very loud voice.
Instantly the whole auditorium became silent. “Why would I go on a date with an ugly cow like Isabella!?
She is the ugliest girl I have ever seen and she doesn’t even deserve to talk to me let alone ask me out on a date!
So tell her no way and that I think she is trash!” Once he finished talking all eyes where on me.
I had to get out of there. I started running to the exit and that’s when the laughs began.
Once I passed the gates of the school, I burst in to tears and began the long journey home.
*End of Recap*
After that people started calling me pig and playing mean tricks on me. I
even felt bad for Jackie and Trish who were also bullied because of
me.
Even though I told them they don’t have to be my friends they refused
and I’m so thankful for that because i would have been a loner.
