There were only trees around me as I stood up and looked around this place. This place was serene and helped me to forget everything that had recently happened, but then I remembered him.
I remembered him and how everything was his fault. The lying, stupid, smartmouthed boy that I used to date until I broke his heart. Once I did that, he just snapped; changed. He didn't take the breakup lightly, he pulled out his fangs and killed.
Birds chirped above my head and light wind swayed the leaves. The sun coming in from between the leaves was bright and a perfect temperature. As I was walking around, I heard the sound of a stick snapping 100 feet away from me. My instinct: run. But where to? I questioned myself.
Expeditiously, I felt a rush of wind approaching me and this was no ordinary wind... it was a person. I continued to run, accelerating my speed until I was in the heart of the island. I looked around wth me scared, dark brown eyes realising that I was trapped. And if everything couldn't get any better, the winds stopped and I felt a presence behind me.
"Hello, Babe. Long time no see," I heard in a gruff tone.
I turned around and could not believe my eyes. He was dead and still should be. Yet, he stood before me with his heart pumping blood ad his lungs absorbing air. He was the one person in the universe that I was happy to have dead. I had killed him with my own fangs.
I scowled at him. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, you see, I never truly died, Babe," he responded to me while taking my hand in his. "I was just sent here to this island because I didn't fulfil my destiny."
I vigorously pulled my hand out f his before continuing to conversation. "And what destiny would that be?" I questioned clearly uninterested.
"I was brought up to kill you, but after I got to know you I didn't want to harm you. Once you defeated me. I was sent here to dive in purgatory. But, if you take me back with you, we could live together forever!" he answered with enthusiasm.
"Or I could go back him and you could be here alone forever," I spoke while laughing internally at my own comment.
"Yes, you will let me come back with you so we can live together forever," he said while his eyes dilated.
I smacked him across the face, leaving a red mark from where my hand contacted his skin. "You did not just try to compel me. Plus you should know hat compulsion does not work on original vampires."
'You're not a-" he began but then he looked down at his tear drop necklace as it was glowing. he dropped down to his knees.
"Okay, you can stop being weird now..." I said to him while he was still kneeling.
"I love you, Michelle," he said while trying to pull me into a hug.
I shoved him down towards the ground leaves crinkling could be heard when he impacted with the ground. "get your annoying ass away from me!"
"But I love you so much Michelle!" he pleaded.
"Well, I don't so you can get lost?" I questioned hoping that he would.
"Nope," he responded.
"What an ass.." I said under my breath.
"What as that?" he asked.
"Oh nothing, I was just calling you an ass," I responded.
"Oh, how sweet of you Michelle," he said.
"You know you really are one if you keep hanging around me, Jorge. You're supposed to be dead." I said to him.
"I know, but that never happened. You see I was sent here..." he started.
"Just shut up now before I hit myself with my shoe to get out of this," I said.
"Come on let us find a way out of here," Jorge responded.
"Sure," I said.
He headed off to the left at a walking pace.
I turned to the right and ran.
"BYE FELICIA!" I shouted.
"THAT'S NOT MY NAME IT'S YOUR BAE JORGE!" I heard shouted back at me.
"Oh brother, what have I gotten myself into," I said under my breath.
