I look at the scene in front of me. One angry looking Alpha breathing heavily in the corner, one very startled and yet stoic human-being breathing very unevenly and very nakedly in the middle of the room and one deer caught in the headlights, ready to jump out of the closest window.

"Do you have any idea how loud you are? You are in a Werewolf pack house, we can hear things! It is 2 O'clock in the morning. Why aren't you in bed?" He seethes, his eyes black as they flutter between the two of us.

"Sol came to see me and we began chatting. I seriously doubt our conversation was that invasive. So, the question you should be asking yourself is 'why hasn't Naiad kicked me out of her bedroom yet?'" I answer honestly, taking a step forward and shutting the bathroom door.

"I think you mean my bedroom, darling." He says, straightening up and taking a step forward just as I did.

At that, my eyes widen as I look around the room. I automatically recognise the bed, the door frame, the bath and the sink, the intricate bed-posts. That's the second time.

"Crap." He just smirks at my gob-smacked state.

"Alright, I'm going to go." Sol says from in front of me, turning around giving me a small confused glare.

"Oh, are you sure?" I ask, a little despondent that he was not staying. He walks to the bed and picks up his phone before looking at me again but this time with sympathetic glance.

Understanding fully the reason behind his desire to leave, I concede, "Okay, well I'll see you soon." I say walking closer to him.

"How about you give me your phone number and I will text you when I'm free." He says giving me a beaming smile. A low growl resonates from in front of us, making us both turn to face him, his eyes back to being black again. He is evidently fed up with how ridiculously high the pitch of my voice is, so high in fact, it wakes up the entire household!

"Why do you feel the need to interrupt?" I say angrily before turning back to Sol and reciting my phone number to him as he types it in his phone. I give him a smile before hugging him tightly goodbye. I let go of him, taking a step back. I turn to the side to glare at Sebastian but find him ridiculously close to us, with Sol's shirt in his hand.

"Lovely meeting you, but I have business to attend to with Miss Favilla." He says, roughly handing Sol his shirt. I notice him using the same clipped tone he used with me in the failed Council meeting a few days ago, he is obviously restraining himself.

Sol takes his shirt angrily before turning back to me and giving me a sweet smile. "See you around, E!"

"See ya, Sol." I say reciprocating his smile.

As Sol reaches the door, Sebastian pipes up, "Nice tattoo by the way."

Now, that was just mean.

Sol scoffs as he walks out of the door.

I scoff also, my eyes resting on Magnusson's chiselled chin, "What is wrong with you?"

"Me?" He screams, his voice an octave higher than he is used to it being.

"Sol is a good guy, he deserves better treatment. And, woah! How come your voice is allowed to be raised but when I speak in a normal decibel, you go ape-shit?!" I counter, meeting his angry, dark green stare. I was really pushing my luck but I wanted to see how far I could go. Our union had been secured rather abruptly and so our trust will have to be also. I need to know I can trust him.

"I don't appreciate you answering booty calls in my home." He growls out, his canines protruding. He is reaching his limit.

"Why do you always barge in? You never announce yourself, for an alpha, you have little to no manners whatsoever." I say in a bored tone, before walking back to the bathroom and resuming my scrubbing. I hoped my brief absence would give him the space he needed to calm down.
