Chapter 3

                      One year later
                     Stella's P.O.V

I was one of the best agent at S.H.I.E.L.D now. Still not as good as Nat and Clint though. Natasha, Clint, and Phil are now my best friends here. I was talking with Phil until we had to go to the helicopter landing pad to get Nick. He's coming because the tesseract was misbehaving. While here I've learned about astrophysics and psychology but I'm best in the field. When Nick got here Phil and I went to retrieve him. When we got there Mariah Hill was with him. Mari was talking with Nick while I followed behind. When we got to the room with the tesseract Eric walks over to us. I look up on the balcony and see Clint looking out over the scene. He soon looked down at me and smiled. He stood up and slid down a rope. He started walking my way. "Hey Hawk I think Nick needs you." He looks at me "Ya think" he replies in a sarcastic tone. He walks up to Nick and starts talking. Then the tesseract starts to act up again. A light beam shoots from the tesseract out to a platform. When the light clears there is a guy kneeling where the beam ended. He had a scepter in his hand. I start to reach for my gun not wanting to transform. Nick started to ask the mystery man to put the scepter down. The guy looks up with an evil grin and starts to shoot more beams of lights out of his scepter. I see everything unfold in front of me. I see Eric and Clint get taken over by the guy. Wait Clint was taken over by this guy. It started to come back together. I was angry but I tried to hold my wolf half inside of me. My other half was howling and clawing at my inside. I raise my gun and point it at the guy but I soon feel a gun point at my head. I turn around and see Clint with that very gun. He then aims lower and shoots me in the side. I fall over bleeding. I see Nick try to get the tesseract but Clint shoots him and takes the case with the tesseract in it. I start to bleed more and more. I have to turn to wolf form to help me heal faster. I stager to my feet and start to run as fast as I could carry myself. Once in my wolf form I trot over to Nick he gets up and starts walking. I follow him. We get outside and in an helicopter. We start to chase the vehicle with the man in it but we get shot down. Me and Nick jumped out before we could land and die right there. When I hear what Nick said to every or anyone who was listening I shivered. We were now at war. Once we found as many agents we could we packed up in helicopters and headed to the only place left. Once on the helicarier I was helping with what ever was needed. After helping out I was called into Nick's office. He started to talk. "We are now at war with and intelligent force. That force has the tesseract. We will need all the help we can get. I'm going to restart the Avengers Initiative. We need heroes that can stop this force." He stops and takes a breath. "Ok I'll go talk to Captain about coming. If he agrees, Coulson, you will be picking him up and taking him here. Stella you will retrieve Banner, Natasha will be with you just incase. Coulson call up Natasha and get her a plane out there so she can hopefully get there at the same time as Stella. Ok now go do your jobs. Stella you leave in an hour." Ok I was freaking out. I was suppose to retrieve THE Bruce Banner. He is an amazing scientist but he has huge anger issues maybe I could try out my psychology on him. I walk to my room to take a thirty minute nap before my long trip to where ever Dr.Banner is.
