Jane's POV-
I quickly jump up from the bed once I hear the front door slam, and you know what that means. The parents are home, which means I got a whole lot of explaining to do.
"PSH!", I whisper while hitting Michael shoulder trying to wake him up.
"Hmm?", he asks half awake, half asleep.
Looks like I'm gonna have to do this the hard way huh?
"Wake up.. Ah Michael, I'm in so much pain." I moan as I pretend to be hurt. He immediately shoots up from the bed with a worried expression on his face.
"What's wrong? .. Where does it hurt?, do I need to heal it for yo-"
"My parents are back." He stares at me with a blank face then sits back on the bed next to me and grabs my hand.
"Are you finally gonna tell them about your school life?"
Uh .. No, never in a million years
"Uh.. Yeah." I say as my voice trails off, indicating that I'm lying.
He rolls his light brown eyes then stands up crossing his arms over his chest. "Stop lying, I read your mind.. You don't plan on telling them, but I will."
Help this child! He wants to tell my parents *facepalm*
"Ya know what, that won't be necessary.. I'll just tell them myself. I grab Michael and drag him into the living room where my parents are. Mom.. Dad, this is Michael Jackson, my life mate."
At first I'm kind of terrified because they show no reaction, but then they start laughing, like really laughing, like hyenas. I'm trying to figure out what's so damn funny?
"Honey, we kinda already knew that." My mom says after she finishes her laughing fit
Well I'll be damned, they already knew!
"And you don't care that he's four years older then me?" Tom chuckles then smiles.
"The older, the better, it means he's more mature and can take good care of you, so no we don't care about the age difference." I turn around and look at Michael as he softly smiles at me.
Should I tell them I get beat up on a daily basis at school, and that I cut too? I look at Michael's face and see he has a confused, angry, yet sad look, he must have read my thoughts again.
"Mom.. Dad."
