Tick, tok, tick, tok, tick---
Soft rustling sounds filled the quiet room as Gold packed clothes into his backpack, as well as some potions for his team. While his hands were busy packing, his thoughts were also busy thinking. "I should leave before Silver comes back--"
"Where to?" A familiar voiced crept behind Gold before he could even zip his bag close. His honey-like colored eyes widen, as he turned around just to see Silver standing by the door way.
Gold sighed a relief, closing his eyes for few seconds. "Oh its just you, Silvy. You nearly gave me a heart attack." He joked, but resumed on what he was doing. "I-I-...I thought what you said earlier. I'll try to--to go to other regions." He stammered, trying his best to avoid Silver's eyes as he walk closer to him.
"Well that's great, I guess. Where're you going to travel first?"
The Hatcher gulped, looking for a good lie to say. "Uhm...uh, Ho--Honen!" He said, facing the Exchanger one, masking his uneasiness with a smile.
Silver let out a soft chuckled at his mispronounced. He sat on Gold's bed and spoke. "It's Hoenn, Gold. And also," he glanced at the corner of his eyes with full of seriousness and curiosity. "Why are you nervous? Are you hiding something?" His tone suddenly changed from calm to a stern question.
Like a flash, Gold's eyes widen in an instant when he heard Silver's question, along with the tone he gave. "Wh-what?! No! I'm just nervous be-because-!"
"Shut it, Gold! I know what you're thinking. And that's a no." Silver snapped at him, followed by a sharp glare.
The raven-haired trainer flinched, but countered back, "Why are making my decision?!"
This time, it's Silver's turn to flinch. Gold's right, why is he controlling him? He thought that. "I...I--I didn't mean--"
"Its you who's been hiding something, right?"
