I ran through those woods as fast as I possibly could man I really screwed up this time "I think she went this way" I heard a cop yell. Shit I dont know how much longer I can hold out im geting tired, I look around for some place to hide but all I saw were trees wait I could probably climb up one and hide above them. I slung my dufflebag over my shoulder and started climbing one of the trees as fast as I could. After I was up a decent ways I scooted up against the trunk so I could better hide myself from the cops. I heard leaves crunching below me and saw flashights going in all directions but none of them got me. "Lets go check by the creek" I heard one of the cops yell I heard them run off until I couldn't hear them anymore.

Once I was certain that the coast was clear I climbed down from my hiding spot making as little noise as possible.I decided to go the opposite direction of the creek twords the thicker part of the woods a lot of people are afraid to go there so I should be safe. As I was walking I thought about my situation this is all that laughing bastards fault I may not have gotten a good look at him but i'll never forget that god awfull laugh of his. I was draged from my thoughts when I saw flashlights in the distance heading in my direction all I could think to do was run but I soon realized I was to tired for another chase.I was about to collapse when I was pulled into a dark area between some boulders. I was about to say something when a hand covered my mouth "be quiet will ya we dont want to get caught do we".

Jack (pov)

I dont know why but I felt compelled to help her so I did. "What the hell she was here a second ago" the younger cop said "well there ain't nothing we can do now we'll just start again in the morning best not to be in these woods to late" the obviously older man replied. I waited a few minutes after they left before releasing her allowing us to step out of the space between the boulders. "Sorry about that I figured you'd prefer me doing that than geting caught by the cops though" I explained as she brushed herself off. "Don't sweat it uhh...." "jack" I told her quickly "ok well thanks jack I really owe you one my name is jay" she held out her hand and I took it.

"Well jack I'd love to stay and chat but I need to find a place to hid out" she said and started to walk off. "hold on a second" I said she turned around and looked at me. "There's a cabin in the really thick part of the woods me and my freinds use when we're here on business you can crash there if you want" I told her. She scratched her head probably thinking it over "are you sure its ok" "positive nobody goes into that part of the woods and you'll be the only one there now follow me".

I led her through the woods until we were at the doorstep of the cabin. "Make yourself at home here's a key I gotta go meet with my boss but ill be back in a few days so just try to lay low. She smiled lightly as I handed her a key "thanks, oh and umm jack" she asked "yeah" " where am I supposed to sleep" "oh just use my room it's downstairs to the right". "Ok see you later I guess" with that she went inside. As I walked to the well to head home I called slenderman on my cell "jack where have you been you were supposed to be back an hour ago" I heard him yell. "relax slendy im almost at the well now besides I have a reason for being late" he sighed "and just what is this reason. I smiled to myself "I think I might have found a new partner".
