Ch.2

Jack (pov)

Once I got to the well I jumped down it and before I knew it I was in the woods near the house. I walked to the house which was pretty big considering a lot of us live here. When I got to the door I was greeted by sally "Hi jack slendy wants to talk to you he sounded mad" she said in her always cheery voice. I laughed ruffling her as I walked in the house "I already know but hey sal guess what" "what" "if slendy says yes I'll be bringing a new partner here in a few days". She jumped up and down while claping her hands "yay a new face what are they like is it a boy or a girl". I chuckled even though shes a lot older she still acts like she's 10 "you'll have to wait and see sal" I reply walking to slendy's office.

Once I got up to his office slendy was standing there with his arms crossed "you better explain yourself jack". "Well I was on my way back after my hunt when I heard rustling so I ducked between some rocks" he nodded signaling me to continue. "Well turns out it was this girl running from the cops next thing I know I pull her in with me to help her hide". "hmm I take it this the person who could become your partner" he asks "yeah she's at the cabin now". He stroked his chin collecting his thoughts "why do you think she's a good choice". "Well I could automatically tell she was smart because she had the sense of where to run, she is fast and by that I mean really fast and I could smell death on her" I say finishing. "very well you may bring her in a few days I need to make arrangements".

I nod walking out of his office "hey jack sally says your geting a new partner" jeff says when I enter the living room. "Yep but it'll have to wait a few days so slendy can make arrangements" I reply sitting in my chair. "So jack you gonna leave them alone in the cabin until then man " ben says looking at me. "No I'll head over there in the morning and chill with them there until slendy gives the ok" I cant wait till tomorrow.

Jay (pov)

I woke up on the leather couch in the living room I must've passed out here when I sat down. "How long was I out" I yawn looking at the clock it was 11:30 pm "I might as well take a shower then go to bed" I mumbled. I took a look around earlier so i already knew where everything was. I walked up the stairs and went into the second room on the right. When I got in the shower I let the hot water run over me for a minute before washing my hair and scrubbing myself off. After i was done i wrapped a towel around me and looked in my bag for something to sleep in. I grabbed a black tank top and black yoga pants that were red where they folded down.

After I got dressed my stomach growled "guess I should eat before I go to bed" I say laughing heading for the kitchen. When I got there I grabbed an apple from the counter then went to the fridge to grab something to drink. "What the heck" I say looking in the fridge there were two containers with medical symbols on them that's how I knew what was in them. "why are there kidneys in a fridge oh well not my business" I grab a bottle of water and shut the fridge.

After I finish my snack I grab my stuff and head downstairs to Jack's room. "huh it's actually kinda nice" I say looking around his room. All the furniture was in a dark wood color there was a dresser, a closet and a nightstand next to the bed. But what I liked most was the color scheme his carpet was black the walls were blue and his bed set was mostly black with blue border lines. I walked over to the bed and soon after lying down I fall asleep not feeling anxious for the first time in months.
