How dare he say that I didn't break jai, the fucking pricks that spread shit did. That has pissed me right off I decide to text jai, he will tell me the truth

Hunnie, honestly, I blame Luke, I spoke to him about it the other day actually and he said he made it all up because he didn't want us to go out, he had a thing for you ahahaha how sweet I thumped him for it though so don't worry aha xx

I don't reply for a while, Luke liked me, he broke me and jai up, why didn't he tell me, im so confused, does he still like me. No don't think like that lacey he is going out with Gracie. Jai will think something's up better reply, but can't get serious with jai again.

Should I text Luke, it might make him think about it, but then he might dump Gracie.

Oh my lacey rice, call it quits now, with Luke we can't keep doing this everyone will just get hurt, think about it, you once loved jai, those feeling won't have left completely , just forget about Luke, ignore the butterflies, ignore the sparks, think about jai, his cute face, he is loving. Just forget about Luke.

A few days later

I wake up for school with a god awful head ache, but on the other hand it's only a couple days away until jai's birthday, and the ignoring Luke plan has went quite smoothly, I have missed him, but I went a couple of weeks not seeing him I will be fine, and I haven't got the blades out for ages.

I put my polo shirt on and tuck it into my skirt; beau will be here to pick me up with jai in a bit. Luke doesn't get the car he walks with Gracie. A few minutes later and they were here. Beau was in the front seat with James, me jai and Daniel were in the back: jai was in the middle and held my hand the whole way, his hand was warm and it made me feel safe.

Last lesson

I walk to my last lesson with jai he's in the class next to mine, only because last year in science I practised loads with experiments with Luke, which is also why Luke is in the same class as me and is next to me. Ignore, ignore, and ignore him lacey, you can do this.

"Get ready for a practical class" Ms Earl is a right prick, she speaks very slowly and hates us all its clearly obvious.

Luke glares at me, me and him have to work together as we sit next to each other. GREAT. This is defiantly going to help my plan of avoiding him.

"Do you want me to light the flame" Luke asks me

"Eh no I like a bit of danger" I go and light the flame and accidently burn my finger

"That's why it's a man's job" Luke teases me I giggle and then put on a saw face. "Lacey are you okay, if not go put some water on it" I nod and Luke takes my hand and holds it under the water, it tingles at first but after a while it's just right and I sigh

"Thank you Luke, so do you think we failed this experiment" he nods

"Shame" he clicks his fingers sarcastically "lacey, why are you going back out with jai?"
