"And he didn't even really talk to me... I mean, what the heck?!"

"Michelle-"

"I mean, should I call the number, or..."

"Michelle!-"

"He didn't even write his first-"

"MICHELLE!"

I blinked.

"What?"

Danielle sat on her bed and looked at me.

"Well, now that I have your attention, let's look at the facts. The guy said 'so much for laying low' and they were all in like hoodies and stuff. They all suspiciously left- god, Michelle, they sound like criminals!"

I blinked.

"Umm..."

I ran my fingers across the soft fabric of the hotel blanket.

"Well I'm not going to sit around and watch while you do something stupid. I know you're going to call him." she said.

I crossed my arms.

"Who says I am?" I said deffensively.

Danielle rolled her eyes and laid down on her side, turned away from me.

I sighed and looked down at my phone. It sat, waiting patiently. I turned it on and saw it was already 10:35.

"What could it hurt if I do contact him..." I muttered.

I unlocked my phone and decided I wasn't going to call him- I would text him.

Hi.

-Michelle

I sat the phone down and waited silence. The buzz of my phone scared me at first, but then I looked at the message.

Hi. Who is this?

-Unknown number

I realized that he never got my name either. Wow, I thought, great job idiot. Give a girl your number and don't even get her name. Or give her yours.

It's the girl from the carnival. By the way, that stain better come out or you're going to get it.

-Michelle

I looked down at what I was wearing now. I had just taken a shower and now I had on some blue pajamas. Yes, pajamas- who says I can't wear them just because I'm a 'legal adult?'

I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number.

-Unknown number

I stared down at the phone. He. Gave. Me. The. Wrong. Friggen. Number.

I layed back, happy that I had gotten it over with. But I wanted to yell. In his face. Teach him a lesson.

"You just texted him, didn't you?"

I looked over at Dani, who was still laying on her side.

"Yeah. So what if I did?"

She sighed and turned off the lamp before burrying herself in the blanket.

I layed back, already thinking what I would say to him if I saw him again.

My phone buzzed again.

By the way, I know how to get stains out. So if you need tips or advice or something, just ask! :)
