Nick's P.O.V.
I woke up this morning with one thing on my mind Olivia. I wanted so badly to have her be mine. But I knew I couldn't because we were partners and that would jeopardize her work. So I decide to just forget about it get dress and go to work.
*16 precinct*
Olivia's P.O.V.
"Hey Liv." Was the first thing I heard as I walked into the precinct and over to the coffee machine.
"Hey Fin, have we got a case yet?" I asked sitting at my desk while he sat on the corner of my desk.
"Nope slow day Capt. Said to just do paper work until something came in."
"Ok, hey I just realized something. Where's Amaro? He's usually here by now."
" I don't know actually he said he was going to be here." Fin replied with a confused look on his face
Just then we heard Rollins scream come from the hallway.
"What the hell was that?" I asked as Fin and I ran in that direction. As soon as we get to Rollins we saw Nick sprawled out on the floor with blood coming from his side. When I bend down to check his pulse he jumps up.
" What the hell Nick! You scared the shit out of me!" I said getting up and storming away. Oh how I hated Halloween season. As I reach my desk I hear Fin,Nick,Rollins, and Munch walk in laughing along with Carisi.
"Come on Liv it was just a joke." Nick said as he sat down across from me .
" Fuck off Amaro, I don't see how that's funny." I said with every word dripping venom.
"Damn Liv it was just a joke Fin said touching my arm not knowing I had a joke up my sleeve. Just as I was about to start the prank Captain walks out his Office
" We got a case. 17 year old girl at Mercy hospital claims she was raped by her step brother. Olivia and Nick check it out. Fin and Munch go find the step brother. Rollins and Carisi go talk to the parents.
*Mercy*
" Hi I'm Detective Benson and this is my partner detective Amaro."
"Hi honey can you tell me your name." Nick asked the victim.
"My name is Maria Santiago."
"Well Maria I would like to ask you a few questions is that fine."
"I guess."
After an hour of her having to relive her rape we headed back to the precint to see what the rest of the quad had gotten.
"Fin got anything on the step brother?" Caption asked as Nick and I walked back into the precinct.
"Nope he wasn't been home for a while and we can't find him anywhere Capt." Munch said.
"Okay well Olivia have the rest of the day off Lucy called and said somethings wrong with Noah. "
"WHAT!"Nick and I said in unison.
"Capt. You have to let me go to. Noahs' like my son to please."Nick explained
'Did he just say Noah is like his son. This man could not get any more attractive. But right now my mind is on my son.
"Ok you to go to mercy."
"Thanks Capt."
I bolted out the door and down to my car with Nick right behind me.
"Liv your in no way possible to drive let me." Nick said
I stood there for a moment then threw him the keys I didn't feel like argueing all I wanted to do was get to Noah.
Nick's P.O.V.
The car ride to Mercy was quiet I could feel the tension in the air I know Noah would be okay.But I don't know if Olivia and I would be okay. I couldn't believe I called Noah my son in front of her.
"Liv. I know right now isn't the right time but Liv I..I..Love you."
"Nick now is not the time to be confessing feelings MY son is in the hospital and I don't know why. Besides I'm your partner okay let's keep it that way." Olivia said with tears in her eyes. I could tell that she was worried sick about Noah.
"Olivia..." I was saying but Olivia interrupts me.
"Nick just be quite and get me to my son."
The rest of the way there was quite when we arrived there we rushed to Noah's room to find Lucy crying.
"Lucy what happened." Olivia asked.
"I don't know we playing on the floor one minute and the next he started wheesing and he passed out. I tried your cell but it kept going to voice mail so I called Cragen. Olivia I'm so sorry"
"Lucy it's okay he had an asthma attack hes fine I forgot to give you the inhaler this morning. Go home take a break come back Friday." Olivia more relieved than mad.
Lucy left and that left Olivia and I with a sleeping Noah.
"Liv im going to go asked the doctor when we can take him home." I told her as I walked out the room.
"Okay." Was all she said
