A Twin Life

Chapter 1 :The Life

Tamara & Tamika were both born on the same day. Tamara was older by 2 minutes. They grew up as happy girls with both unique personality's. They loved to wear the same thing each and everyday and never went anywhere without each other. They also had great friends.

On their 13th Birthday they had a great Birthday Party and didn't mind sharing the day. They also had the same friends so their wasn't any problem. Everything was great for them and they were happy. Until the day after their party their mom decided to break the news to them.

"Tamera, Tamika, could you guys come here please".

"Yes mom?" the twins ask.

"Okay, I know you both like your school St. Mary's School but its time for us to move on. Your dad had gotten a huge job promotion but its to far from where we live right now so were moving in two days.

"What!?" They both say.

"No mom you can't do this" Tamera says.

"This isn't fair mom we were going to go to Stephanie's Birthday Party this weekend!" Tamika says.

"Well I'm sorry hun I guess you'll have to tell Stephanie you can't make it".

"Where are we moving anyway?" Tamera asks.

"Are you guys ready for this?" Mom says and takes a pause. "New York!"

I think she expects us to be amazed and happy but were not. I walk off to my room and my sister follows me.

"Start packing" I hear mom say.

"Can you believe this Tamika" I say as I'm getting my luggage.

"Moms being so unfair, I know"

The next day Tamera and Tamika put on the same clothes, pack their lunches, and don't say a word to their mom. Which is a first.

"2 DAYS!?" Stephanie screams.

"That isn't fair" Kendra pleads.

"That's what I said!" Tamika says.

"So I guess that means you can't make my Birthday Party this weekend huh" Stephanie asks.

"Nope" They both say sadly.

The next day is their last day of school.

"I'm gonna miss you guys" Stephanie says.

"Ya, and don't forget to call me like everyday and tell me what your new school is like" Says Kendra.

"Yup we will" They both say. And they all laugh.

"That never gets old" Stephanie says.

Chapter 2: The Move

In Tamera's point of view.

The next day me and my sister get on a plane for New York. When we get there we take a taxi to our new house.

"Here you have it girls, home sweet home.

I don't say anything but just stare at this new house that is twice as big as our old one.

"Dannggg how big of a promotion did Daddy get? Tamika asks.

"That's not for you guys to worry about now go upstairs to your new room and start unpacking girls" Mom says commandingly.

"Omg do we get the biggest room mommy!?" I ask hoping its a yes.

"Yes you guys do" Moms says.

"Halle?" I can hear dad at the bottom of the stairs say.

"I expect to see it clean though ladies" Mom says.

"Okay maybe this isn't the worst thing that has ever happened to me" My sister says in excitement.

"I know right this is going to be so fun decorating it and putting up posters-

But then I'm interrupted by a ring at the door. Mom answers it and theirs a boy at the door. He's pretty cute and he looks about our age. Me and my sister make our way downstairs.

"Hi my name is Jordan and I would just like to welcome you guys to the neighborhood"

He says in a hot voice.

Then he looks over at me and then concentrates back on my mom.

"Oh that's really kind of you Jordan" My mom says.

Then he leaves walking out my front door. See you around I think.
