Chapter Four

Amy's P.O.V.

I woke up at around 10AM, I stayed lying in bed for a few minutes just thinking about the three months that I've got here with my dad, I go back to London at the beginning of September and then a few days after that I start back at college. I actually really like college, well most of the time, sometimes it takes me a while to get my work handed in which can be pretty annoying. I study art at college and well I don't always have a lot of time to do all the work that needs to be done, so it's actually nice to be able to come to Ireland to have a break. 

I decided that today I was going to go for a walk, I loved walking around Mullingar because its such a lovely place. There's this big field across the road from my house and then there's a park that is connected to it. Sometimes I just go sit on the swings and think about everything. When it's nice and quiet, it makes it a lot easier to think about things.

I grabbed my things for the shower. I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on to the temperature that I liked. While I was waiting for the shower to heat up, I got undressed. I looked at myself in the mirror. I'm quite happy with my body to be honest. I'm not perfectly skinny, but I wouldn't say I'm fat either, but really I couldn't care less what I looked like. I eat what I want when I want. If I get fat, I get fat, so what? I hopped into the shower and did my showery things. Once I was done, I turned the shower off, stepped out and wrapped my towel around my body. I then walked back into my bedroom to get dressed. I grabbed some pants and a bra first and put those on. Then I went to my wardrobe to find something to wear. I chose some black leggings, a penguin jumper because penguins are cool and my brown boots. I walked over to my mirror and grabbed my brush. I brushed my hair through and then plugged in my hair dryer and hair straighteners. I then started drying my hair. Once my hair was dry, I straightened it all and then pulled it all over one shoulder. I put a bit of hair spray on to keep it straight. I put on a bit of eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss and then grabbed my bag along with my house keys, my phone and my purse. 

As I was walking down the stairs, I checked my phone. I had two messages one from my mom and one from Niall. I read the one from my mom first.

Hey sweetie, just checking to see if you're okay. I hope you're having fun at your dads, give me a call tonight and we can have a chat. Love you. Xx

I replied back quickly saying that I'd phone her later on tonight. I then checked Niall's message.

Niall: Hey Amy, I was just wondering if you were busy today?x

Amy: I was just going to go for a walk, why?x 

I wasn't sure whether I should put a kiss on the end but then I thought screw it, what harm can it do? While I was waiting for Niall to reply, I grabbed myself a glass from out of the cupboard and filled it up with water, I then grabbed an apple out of the fruit bowl. I quickly drank my water, put my glass in the sink and then went to find my dad. I'd eat my apple once I'd left the house. I found my dad in the living room watching the TV. I told him that I was going for a walk and that I had my house keys so he didn't need to worry about me being able to get back in. He just nodded while still looking at the TV. I walked over to the front door, opened it and stepped outside. It was quite cold today so I'm kind of glad I put a jumper on. I quickly locked the front door back up and then went ahead walking down the drive way. I crossed straight over the road from my house and climbed over the gate to get onto the field. The owner doesn't really have a problem with me walking across the field since my dad and him are pretty close. He doesn't usually like people walking across his field especially teenagers but he doesn't seem to be too bothered if I go on his precious field. It's actually kind of sad how much this field bothers him.
