Indigo's POV
I woke up and forgot to unpack my things. I was in a new home. Really I got up from the bed and took out my suitcase and unpacked my stuff. I dropped something a picture of my mom before she left. I placed it next to the nightstand. I put my clothes in the closet and I cleaned my bed. "Mom how i miss you, I love you with all heart and soul. I knew that you never meant to abandon me all I want to say is where ever you are, please mom remember that I love you no matter what." I said. "Hello there Indigo" Mrs. Van Dort said. "Uh hi Mrs Van Dort." I said weirdly. "Ahh sweet Indigo you can call me Victoria." She said. "Uhh ok" I said. Victoria walked over to my nightstand and looked at the picture of my mother "this is your mom?" Victoria asked. "Yes she is." I said. "Oh" she said. By the tone of her voice I knew Victoria knew something I didn't. She probably met my mom. "Well then I need you to dress up my parents are coming to visit today. Can you do that for me sweetie" Victoria said. "Yeah I will mom, I mean Victoria" I said blushing. "Hehehe it's okay Indigo." She said. Victoria left and gently closed the door. "Alright" I said to myself.
Victoria's POV
The doors knocked. "Victor" I said "yeah Hun" Victor said. "My parents are here" I said in shock. "Clam down nothing is going to happen." He said. I gulped and open the door "hello Victoria." Said both of my parents. "Hello" me and Victor answered. "Victoria I heard you adopted" said my father. "Yes we adopted" Victor said. "Indigo come and meet your step grandparents" I said. Indigo stood there she was wearing a pearly white shirt, a floral skirt, and her white flats. "Mom, Dad I'm here" she said.
Indigo's POV
"Mom, Dad I'm here." I said standing at the stairs. Wow I can't believe I just said that. When I got there There were those two people. The woman was very tall and her hair, she was wearing a long red dress. I almost fell down the stairs laughing her hair was big and brown. And for the man he was very short also had brown hair, he was wearing a tuxedo. I also almost laughed, but I need to respect them because they are my adoptive mothers parents. "Hello you must be my mothers parents, I'm Indigo nice to meet you." I said "yes indeed" said the woman. I gave a frown. "Honey why don't you show your piano skills to your adoptive grandparents" said Mr Van Dort. I still didn't get his name which was very weird.i stood in front of the piano sat on it and played thousand years. i had finished i had turned around and i saw Victoria's parents gently clapping. still frowning. i gave them my infamous "Rebel" look. in the orphanage i would give a rolling eyes while looking rebellious and walking away to Marisa and her friends, i would also give it to miss Vanessa. I walked away and stood next to mr. Van Dort . "Nice job" Mr. Van Dort said. i gave him a small smile. "well then Victoria and Victor we are leaving and we see no potential in this young girl." Victoria's Mother said.so i finally figured out that Mr. Van Dort's real name is Victor they got up and left. they slammed the door without saying good bye. what type of parents do that, after that it made realize "Did my mother abandon me?" i thought. That night Victoria went on a rampage "WHY DID I ADOPT HER I KNEW MY PARENTS WOULDN'T ACCEPT HER I WANT EVERYTHING SO PERFECT!!!" she screamed. "VICTORIA CALM DOWN! IF THEY DIDN'T LOVE HER OKAY DON'T YOU GET IT WE LOVE HER!!!" screamed Victor. "WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND SHE NOTHING LIKE THE PERFECT GIRL I WANT HER GONE IMMEDIATELY! I DON'T CARE IF YOU LOVE HER I DON'T IF SHE DOESN'T IMPRESS SHE IS OUT!!!" She yelled. I covered myself with the blankets forgetting what i heard. "UGH ITS YOUR FAULT FOR GIVING ME A CHEAP GIRL!!" she kept yelling. "THAT'S ENOUGH I'M SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR RAMPAGES IM LEAVING WITH OR WITHOUT YOU I'M GOING TO FIND EMILY AND IM TAKING INDIGO WITH ME, I REGRET HAVING YOU AS A WIFE!" Victor yelled. "FINE LEAVE I WILL FINDS SOMEONE THAT WILL FIND PERFECT UNLIKE YOU YOU SACK OF MISERY I HATE YOU GO AWAY!" Victoria said. "FINE!" screamed Victor. the door slammed. i was still under the covers. Realizing that whole conversation was about me. i was sad and cried. i never realized i needed to be perfect..i was just me.
