- CHAPTER TWO -
.*•🐚.☆MEGAN
I wake up to the sound of what I would usually call my school alarm.
"Ugh!" I groan loudly, once again except it's the last time in this house that i've called home for the past 3 years.
This time i'm not waking up for school. I'm waking up to leave to Virginia.
I roll out of bed, dramatically and drag myself to the bathroom to get ready for whatever the day awaits for me.
I start the shower and as I wait for the water to heat up, I brush my teeth.
I step into the shower and let the hot water hit my back.
There's probably no better feeling I love more than the relaxation my body goes into from a nice hot shower.
After fully waking up, I begin to wash my face, my hair and body.
After about what feels like five minutes, I shut the water off and step out the shower. I grab my towel and dry my whole body dry, head to toe.
I walk to my bedroom leaving little wet footprints behind ever step I took.
I stare at the outfit I had left out for myself the night before. A "Werenottotallystrangers" hoodie and black lulu lemon biker shorts.
I place the outfit over my now, dry body.
I sit on my bedroom floor and put on white nike socks, folding them half way past my ankle.
After that, I put my hair in a messy, side braid which should last me the whole day without getting messed up.
I already know for sure I will be falling asleep in that car on the way to Virginia.
I grab the left over things I had in my room that needed to be packed up in a extra box my mother had left for me beside my blow up mattress. I pack my toothbrush, shower stuff, leftover makeup I had pulled out, my phone charger, and the blow up mattress last.
I go downstairs with the big box in both of my hands. I peep over the side of the box, watching my steps to make sure I don't trip. I see my mom coming in and out of the house, grabbing stuff from the house and putting them in the car.
There was no breakfast on the counter so I guess we will be stopping while we are on the road which I don't mind.
Breakfast from a restaurant or diner is always a better choice.
My mother comes back inside once the whole house was empty. She checks upstairs and downstairs to make sure we aren't forgetting anything.
"You guys ready?" She asks Andrew and I.
