Undercover

My new mission

Erza's POV:
I was walking to my work, I hear you think, 'walking?' Yes, I only live 1/4 mile away from my work.
I work as an undercover agent in Fairytail, and today I'm starting my new mission.

When I arrived at my office I already saw my boss waiting for me, my boss is a small old man, named Makarov, he looked like an old drinker but he new everything about everything.
"Erza! Good that you could be here on time, Mirajane will inform you about your newest mission. I walked over to Mirajanes desk, "hi Mira! Master said you'd tell me about my new mission?" She nodded and gave me a file;

JELLAL FERNANDEZ

I looked confused, Jellal was the most wanted criminal in all of fiore, but ever since his last attack 3 months ago he dissapeared off the earth. "Mira, are you sure you got the right file? Jellal is for the FBI and the CIA right? What do we have to do with him? Mira looked at me, "okay Erza look, don't be insulted, but we're just a small section of the undercover team, almost nobody knows about us. And that's why they think that we can handle him, because he probably won't even know we exist." I ignored the raging anger that was going trough my veins and saw the logic in the plan.. But it was still insulting!!
I went back home to prepare everything, going undercover isn't how you see it in movies, it takes a lot of pre-work and planning. If something goes wrong you need to have a backup plan. That needs to be planned out too.

Time skip: the next morning
I woke up while I was sitting on my chair at my desk, I fell asleep while working again. I had everything sorted out and sent to Mira, I only needed to wait for my plan to be accepted, and that usually took 2 days, so I went out to jog on the beach.

Time skip: on the beach
I was jogging in the beach, I was going to do my usual trainings round. I ran 3 miles, then I went to a clearing in the forest to train my magic, and then I went home with a magic vehicle on full speed to test my magic even more. I did that three times, then it started to bore me. So I went home to cook some dinner.
Then the doorbel rang, I walked to the door and opened it. "Hey Mira!" Mira smiled and greeted me, "Hi Erza!" It was Saturday so that meant that Mira would come over and we would have a movie night, we usually watch a horror movie or something, while we're eating and screaming to the television about how dumb the characters in the movie are acting, I mean seriously, who goes into an old haunted house in the middle of the forest while it's dark with no phone signal being a 17 year old defenseless girl! It really bugs me.
Anyway, we ate spaghetti because that's our favorite food, and went to pick a movie.

When we were watching the movie Mira spoke up. "Hey Erza, your plan has been accepted by the way, you can start Monday." I smiled genuinely at her, "Thanks Mira! Then I'll make sure I'll get a ticket to that cocktail party, I heard he was also coming there, because apparently he's friends with my parents." Now I hear you thinking, my parents being friends with a criminal? Well yes, because he's also a business man who has a lot of contacts in the world of the big money, and my parents were the king and queen of Fiore, but I left my palace to get a place of my own, actually I had to take over the throne, but that's an issue now because I have no brothers or sisters, but for now my parents are okay with me doing this work and not living with them. I actually already met Jellal as a kid. But that was years ago.

The next morning:
The next morning I woke up and called my parents.

I need you to do me a favor, could you get me a ticket for the cocktail party on Monday?

Well all of Mavis, you? Attending to a cocktail party at your own will, this world is getting more and more ridiculous every day.

Haha dad, it's for my job

They all say that, but okay I'm sure I can fix something, just for you or do you also have a date?

No no just for me.

Okay, see you Monday honey!

Erza put down the phone, well that went nice, now I only need a dress!
