We overly obsess
Over beautiful words
But always fail to look
At beautiful actions.

Is this because we mostly express ourselves through only words nowadays?

Or is this because we are too lazy to show how much others matter to us?

And we believe
"if we are important to them,
they'll show it to us."?

Or is this because of our deeper insecurities?

Or is this because we have forgotten?

That to forge a bond
Words are needed
But to keep a bond
Effort is needed
Not from only one.
