I parked my car getting out & locking it as I walked inside Starbucks . When I walked in it was busy as usual , so I sat at a table waiting for the line to get shorter . As I was waiting I felt someone staring at me & I looked up and saw this light skinned girl smiling at me , so I smiled back. She seemed so familiar like I knew her from back home in Florida . I didn't really think much of it so I just went on my phone.
When the line finally got smaller that's when I got up to stand in line & the same girl was still smiling at me as she walked out of the store.
It was finally my turn to order , so I ordered a strawberry short cake frappe , as I waited for my drink to be done I just kept thinking out the girl im from earlier
I payed the cashier for my drink and proceeded my way to my car & drove to schol.
i glanced at my phone and realized it was 7:34am . " god damn Starbucks takes forever " I said to myself as I locked my car doors and walked in side the hallways of the high school .
"Ms.Carter you're late" my teacher spoke as I walked inside
"I understand but you know how Starbucks is" I said as I walked to my seat
"take a seat and pull out your textbook and turn to page 297"
I did as told and began paying attention to the teacher , meanwhile I felt someone was paying attention to me. I didn't want to look around so I ignored the feeling .
the class rung to go to our next class , I grabbed my things and went straight to my locker. As I was walking I accidentally bumped into someone and dropped my phone . Someone picked it up for me and I realized it was the lightskin girl from earlier.
"Oh hey girl" she spoke
"hi do i know you ?" I responded
"we went to middle school back in the days " she said
Oh so that's where I know this girl from.
"oh my god Tiera !" I said giving her a hug
she was one of my closet friends back in middle school but we started drifting apart once me and Darius got together because I felt she would be a little bit to friendly with him , but that was back in 7th grade were seniors now , I mean maybe she matured and I'll actually have a friend while I live out here.
"how are you biiitch" she spoke huggin me back
"I've been alright I guess what about you girl" I said pulling away
"you know living" she said right before the bell rang
"aye meet me right here after school and let's go get something to eat" I said as I started walking to my class
