I've been asked a lot to write how Deacon and Luke got together. For those who don't know who they are, they are from the Covenant Series, and if you haven't read that series, please do not read this short. It will be one big spoiler after another.
A couple of things to note about Deacon's character before this. He was a party guy and really didn't take a lot seriously. He had some issues to work through and none of those issues had anything to do with his sexuality, but had to do with the lost of both his parents. He never really grieved them properly, so he kind of acted out when it came to the drinking. Throughout the Covenant and Titan Series, Luke helped him deal with those things off screen.
Anyway, I thought I'd write a little bit of it their first real interaction. It's not edited, so please excuse typos and what not. Enjoy!
