I trotted my whole way to the cemetery right after school ended. I figured I might as well write my will. People just don't get me. They want to judge me before they even try to get to know me. *Sigh* If I died right here right now to be honest I wouldn't care one bit. When I attended Komono Prep. I really thought I'd be able to finish high school easy breezy but instead I'm too busy getting bruises.
I go home with pain that no one can feel or even know about. You don't know how bad it is to come home and not have the courage to tell my parents. My situation is just bigger than anyone's capability of understanding.
It's no use. I'm repeated this to my conscience over and over and over. I don't even run anymore. Just let them catch me and get the beating over with. While thinking this I decided to sit under my favorite spot under the Oak-Wood tree.
I ate no lunch that day so I brought out my little snacks and a bottle of water. I searched through my backpack until I found it. The book of Legends. I din't even flip a page open and I heard a distant voice.
"Hello Ang,"the voice sounding familiar whispered. I took my bag around from my neck and put my things away. I gave him my hand and he aided me in standing up. But just to think he was helping he and his gang of jerks pushed me down and dragged me from the tree. The rest of them grabbed my belongings.
"We have a new tool to experiment" he said pointing toward and fresh whip. Why is this happening to me? It wasn't really his if each one had one hit. "GAAAAAAA!" I screeched. Pain vibrating through my whole body as they slammed me on the ground my head throbbing on the way down.
All there was... darkness. I saw something. A shadow. "Why is it that you let them bet you?You have to fight!," it spoke. "I wan't to be with you....," I managed to whisper.
"Xavier! Xavier!," my mother yelled. How did she find me? I awakened hearing the humming engine of my dad's car. "We saw you sleeping under the tree. We thought you might be more comfortable resting at home." she explained.
"I noticed that you have a bad scar on your forehead," she continued. "It's probably from the impact...," I replied almost giving it away. "Yeah your head probably hit the roots," my mom guessed.
