Forget Me Not (Niall Horan FanFic) *ON HOLD*

Chapter 3

Alexi's P.O.V.

"Alexi," someone called. "We're here,"

I opened my eyes. Apparently, I had fallen asleep on Niall's shoulder and was drooling. I felt my cheeks getting extremely red and I wiped my mouth.

"Sorry," I said, timidly.

"It's fine," Niall said. "I didn't mind."  I gave him a small smile and started getting my suitcase from the shelf above us. Niall did the same and we both started to get off the bus. As soon as the buses arrive, all the campers are supposed to meet in "The Tent" to get their dorm assignments, learn the rules and the teams they would be representing for the summer. It wasn't an actual tent, we just called it that.

We entered the building and I thought that we would sit together, but Niall started to head for the stage. I thought that was odd because that was where counsellors usually sat. So I went over to talk to Chloe.

"What was that all about?" she asked.

"What?" I replied.

"You were so flirting with that guy on the bus!" she said.

"No I wasn't! I was trying to make friends!" I retorted. "Besides, even if I was flirting, I wasn't the only one who was doing it!"  Chloe's face had turned so red that it could have lit up the whole room.

"Well played," she said with a smile. The guy that she was flirting with, was also by the stage. He was talking to Niall and I had to admit that they both looked extremely adorable. Chloe must have thought the same thing because she was staring at both Niall and her guy.

We started to make our way to two empty seats, when the camp director said "OK ,everyone. Find your seats. We're about to start."

The camp director's name was Mark. He started the day by telling all the other counsellors to introduce themselves so we could get to know them better. A couple of counsellors had told us their names until they came to Niall.

"Hi, everyone. My name is Niall," He looked right at me and my eyes nearly popped right out of my head. HE WAS A COUNSELLOR! I was so surprised. I was kind of beginning to like him, in the short amount of time we spent together. I had sort of wanted to be more than friends but, there was a strict rule against any camper dating any counsellor.

Chloe had looked surprised too because her guy introduced himself as Zayn. I guess we were both in the same predicament.

Mark began to go through the rules and he then stated, "There is to be absolutely no romantic interaction between any camper and staff member. If there is, both camper and staff member will be banned from the premises, permanently."

I felt extremely disappointed. I really wanted to start a relationship with Niall but I didn't think that it was worth risking being banned from my home away from home... at the time.
