The waitress { Lucaya }

Chapter 4

Lucas and his parents are gone now. I'm so happy about that by the way. I called my grandma and told her I was getting my act together and about the break up with me and Brandon. My grandma never liked Brandon because always thought he was a bad influence on me. So she was kind of happy when I told her.

I was at my locker and their was a new girl having a hard time with her locker. So I decided I would help. Her name is Ally and she's really cool we have like all the same classes. I wasn't walking with my same crew some people were looking at me weird.

Lucas and Riley crew walked past us and Lucas gave me a death glare and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Did you two use to go out?" Ally asked me.

"Ew.. No why?" I asked walking into our math class.

"There's a lot of sexual attention, we you two walk past each other." Ally said.

"I don't see it."

Brandon and that same girl I seen yesterday walks in. How do he move on so fast, did he even love me.

Missy house

"Hey Maya do you know how Riley is?" Ally asked me.

"Yeah, but don't trust her, she's a back stabber." Missy said.

"Me and Missy are the best people you would ever meet at this school." I said being completely honest.

"Do you like anybody here yet?" Missy asked.

"Yea, he's really nice. I think his name is Lucas." She said with a smile.

"Lucas!!" Me and missy said while laughing.

"What's so funny?" She asked us.

"Lucas is an ass and he goes out Riley." I said.

"If Riley found out she would make your life a complete nightmare." Missy said.

"Oh okay." She said, I could tell she was sad.

I walk inside my house and see my mom and dad crying on the couch.

"Hey what happened?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Grandma died." My mom said crying more tears.

Did she really just say that

"I'm going to take a walk." I said.

"Don't forget the umbrella baby girl." My mom said still crying a little bit.

I didn't grab the umbrella I just walked around in the rain until I came to a house. Why I'm at his house? I asked my self standing in the rain.

I knock on the door.

"Maya?" He says it like a question. I'm still here crying in the rain.

I walked inside his house and said "I honestly don't know why I'm here." My shirt is really wet I bet you he can see my bra and I'm so cold.

"Do you want a blanket." He asked me and I just nodded. He gave me the blanket and I just sat there on couch. I still don't get why I'm here and why he is being so nice to me, after everything that happened between us. He sat on the couch next to me and I moved closer and put my head on his shoulders and he wrapped his arms around me.
