Doctor

Kate POV

I wake up with Jakes arm around me. Shaking it off I get up and walk to the bathroom. I do my regular moring routine and get dressed.

Walking out of the bathroom to go down stairs I run into a wall.

Who put a wall in front of a door!? I think rubbing my head.

Nope the wall has eyes.

"Good morning honey." Jake tells me.

"You to." I mumble. He's face falls before he maskes it with a fake smile.

I walk out the door to the kitchen.

Dad is in there as well as everyone else.

I smile at dad and hug him. "How are you feeling?" I ask him.

He smiles at me. "I'm as good as I should be." He says. I laugh at his joke. He's the only one who can make me laugh at stupid stuff.

"How are you feeling?" He ask me seriously.

"As good as I should be." I tell him.

Jake comes down the stairs as I say that. He stops at my voice.

"Kat I know there's something wrong. Tell papa." He says trying to sound old.

I shake my head at his silliness. "It's nothing. Papa I really don't know. I feel different. I can't figure it out." I tell him as I hand him his drink.

"I hope you feel better Angle. You've been through alot. You need a break." He tells me. He gives me a kiss and heads up the stairs. I watch him leave then go back into my shell.

My family is looking at me as if I was a ghost.

I look down and get off the stool I was on.

"Kat. Honey we need to talk." Mom says suddenly.

I set back down and look up.

"You want to know what's wrong?" Rose ask me.

I nod my head. "Then we're going to the doctors. Let's go." Mom tells me.

I sigh and follow them out of the house and to the car.

"We'll go the pack doctor." Mom mumbles quietly after some time.

I can't believe their dragging me to the doctor. Like what could I have? Ebloa?

Mom pulls into the pack doctor and we get out.

Wolfs stop and stare at us. They stread out and look down as I pass them.

We're put into a room right away and soon the doctor somes in.

"What seems to be the problem?" He ask me.

"We don't know." Mom says.

Doc looks at me then my family. "I need you to leave." He tells them. They nod and walk out the door.

"Look I can already tell you that there is a pup inside you. And why are you so....out of it?" He ask. "I can do test to confirm it but I'm pretty sure of it."

"No I trust you." I tell him. "I assume you heard about my dad." I ask him.

He nods. "Sorry."

I close my eyes. "Every time something happens to my dad I shut down. Soon after my wolf talks me out of it and I liven back up. But they haven't said a word to me."

"When we the last time you shifted?" He ask me.

"That's the thing. I can't." I tell him quietly.

He nods. "Every time a wolf gives birth about two months before the pup is born the wolfs leave. I don't know why no one really knows. But what I don't get is how your that far along." He says scratching the back of his neck. "When did you and Alpha Jake mate?" He ask me.

"The night of our wedding. About a month ago." I tell him.

"Ok so an average wolf gives birth in six months. An Alpha wolf gives birth in four months. It's been around to so ya. It's correct." He tells me.

"Can you check on the pup? I really haven't been eating so." I tell him.

"Serially." He says and moves around the bed.

He takes something from under the bed. And puts in on my stomach.

"I would eat more. Not much. Um..your about the go into the second trimester. So you'll have cravings it'll be easy to eat. I can actually tell you the gender." He says.

"How? I'm only two months?" I ask.

"Well if you think about it. In human pregnancy your about seven months. Alpha babys grow fast." He tells me.

"Ok then. Tell me." I say.

"It's a-" he starts.

"Wait call my mate and family in here." I tell him. He nods and walks out the door.

I'm pregnant.
