Chapter 1: Plucking Pikmin, Part 1

I open an eye. I see a blue sky above me, trees towering over. I open my other eye. Part of my face feels dry. Did I drool again? Hate it when that happens.
I yawn and sit up. Wait.
Why can I see the sky? Am I outside? Why am I OUTSID?This must be a dream.
I stand up. W-What is that? Something is in burried in the ground. That looks like an Onion from Pikmin! Oh heck yes, a Pikmin dream! I usually don't have video game dreams. I better take advantage of it.
The onion is half in the ground and half out. It's red! Just like the first Onion in Pikmin 3!
I try to pull the Onion out of the ground. It's as heavy as I suspected, not to light, but not the heaviest. I manage to pull the thing out from the ground, but I fall back in the process. It kind of hurt...
Wait. It actually HURT me?
The Onion flies into the air, and from the three holes on the bottom come three tentacles. I always found that kind of weird....
A sprout sputters out from the Onion. It flies into the ground.

But... Why did it hurt when I fell? This is a dream...
Well, it does seem more realistic than my other dreams...
I lightly punch one of the trees next to me. It hurt.
Why did it hurt?
