Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I'm a survivor. Now, I know what you're thinking.
"Liz! Living in a post apocalyptic world can't be the worst thing ever!"
Now, you're right about that. But I can tell you what the absolute worst thing is. Living in a post apocalyptic world, with braces. It's been 18 months since the disease broke out, though people didn't start dying until just six months ago. Although it wasn't quite as shaking, life was not too much better before the death, and dead walking. With over 90% of the worlds population being deathly I'll for a year, anybody you did see out could've been mistaken for a walker. There are two types of lucky people in this world. Those who did not get sick, and those who did get sick, but got better. I was one of the lucky ones. I never caught the illness, thankfully. The only issue is, my orthodontist was one of the unlucky ones. His corpse is most likely out wandering the streets somewhere. But I'll be damned if that'll stop me from getting these braces removed!
