I was sitting in my classroom when the teacher called out my name for attendance and i just stood abruptly or rather jumping on my seat. All others started laughing and i just ignored them and respond to my roll call. After that classes went by and since it was first day it was too boring and homework was given to us. The break came and all students were chatting and interacting with each other. I sat there alone in the corner of the classroom eating my lunch. Just then someone came to my seat and said
"Excuse me", i looked up and found a plump or cute looking girl looking directly at me.
"Yes",i said.
"My name is Maya. Are u new here?",she asked.
"Yes. I am new in here and my name is Naina",i said with a smile nd took my hand for a handshake.
After that we chit-chat a bit and then the bell goes off. The teacher enters after sometime and it carries on till the end of the day. I and Mata both walk together to our way home. We found that we live in the same street and so decided to go frequently to her house.
