Chapter 3

When school ended. I walked home. To my new home. But I think I got lost. I looked around and didn't see anything the same. Drunk people would walk past me. I started to freak out. I grabbed my phone and called the one person I could trust Harry. Hands  where shaking. Harry gave me his number is ever I was in trouble.

Harry's POV

I looked at my phone as it buzzed. I pulled over to the side of the road and answered it.

"Hello" I said.

"Harry" Angel said. She sounded scared.

"Angel what's wrong?" I asked.

"I think I'm lost. I don't know where I am" Angel said freaking out and speaking fast.

"Alright calm down. What do you see?" I asked.

"Shops, houses and drunk people. I'm scared" Angel said.

"I know where you are. How did you end up there?" I asked.

"I was walking to Paul's house and I think I took a wrong turn" Angel said.

"I'll be there soon okay" I said.

"Thank you Harry" Angel said.

"No problem love. Be there soon" I said and hung up.

I started my car and drove off to where Angel said she was. I got to the place and saw Angel crying. I stopped my car and stepped out.

"Harry" Angel said.

"Yeah" I said.

Angel ran and hugged me. I hugged her back letting her cry.

"Shh... Your okay. Your okay" I whispered softly.

"I'm sorry" Angel cried.

"Hey what are you sorry for?" I asked.

"Getting you to rescue a loser like me" Angel whispered.

"Your not a loser. Your smart. Very smart and that turns me on. Come on I have to get you to Paul's" I said and helped Angel in the front passenger seat.

I got into the drivers side. Starting the car and driving off.

"Thank you" Angel said.

I smiled. I saw Angel shivering. "Do you want the heater on?"

Angel nodded shyly. I chuckled and turned it on.

"There you go love" I said.

"How do you know where Paul lives?" Angel asked.

"He used to be apart of our gang once but than he swapped killed the leader. Framed us and well became the leader of his. So they have always been after us since day one" I said.

Angel nodded and wiped her tears off. I smiled and handed her a tissue. She smiled and took it. Once I got to Paul's I parked my car.

"Thanks again" Angel said.

I smiled. Angel kissed my cheek and stepped out.

Angel's POV

I walked inside the house. Lisa and Micheal hugged me.

"Where have you been? We were so worried?" Lisa asked.

"I'm sorry I got lost. I called and friend to bring me here. Sorry" I said.

Micheal smiled. "Its okay love. We aren't mad. Its good that you are active."

I smiled and walked off to my room. I saw Paul sitting at my desk.

"I thought Harry wasn't your friend" Paul said.

"He isn't. He was just taking me home after I got lost. And its none of your business who I am friends with. The one friend I had died" I said snapping at the last part.

Paul smiled and walked out. I took a massive breath and laid on my bed.

Harry's POV

I got home and walked in. "Sorry mum a friend of mine got lost. I took her home" I said hanging my jacket up and walking into the lounge where mum was drinking a cup of hot tea.

Mum looked up and nodded. She looked like she'd been crying.

"Mum are you alright?" I asked.

Mum put her up down and hugged me crying. I put my arms around her. I care about my mum. Gemma my older sister is in collage with her boyfriend Mark. My other brother moved out with my real dad so I don't get to see him much.

"Mum whats wrong?" I asked.

"Robin came around and he hit me" Mum said.

"He's dead. No one hurts my mum no one" I said and pulled back from mum.

"Harry no. You will go to jail" Mum said.

"I don't care. I care about you" I said and kissed mum's forehead.

My phone went off. I grabbed it and answered it.

"Hello" I said.

"Harry. Good to see you answered without checking your phone" Paul said.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Angel is such a nice girl isn't she" Paul said.

"You leave her alone. She has done nothing to you" I snapped.

"She saw me whiteness and murder and you know what I do next" Paul said.

"Leave her alone understand me" I snapped getting mad.

"I thought you weren't her friend. She doesn't have any. Poor Angel all alone at school and home no wonder her parents didn't want her" Paul laughed.

"She means more to me than anything else. If you hurt her or lay your fingers on her I will kill you" I said and hung up.

Mum looked at me. "What sweetie?" Mum asked.

"My friends ah stepbrother is being a bastard. You remember Paul" I said.

Mum nodded. "No way. Is she alright?" Mum asked.

I shrugged. "He said he would kill her. Paul killed Angel's brother and Angel saw" I said.

Mum hugged me.

"I love Angel mum I really do. But she doesn't know the world love" I whispered.

Mum sighed in confusion.

"She hasn't had any parents. Paul's parents are her new ones" I said.

"She's adopted" Mum said.

I nodded. We pulled back.

"Bring her around so I can meet her" Mum said.

I smiled. "I love you mum" I said.

"Love you too my son" Mum said and kissed my cheek.

I disappeared up to my room.
