Carlisles pov:
I was sat in the kitchen with the others, none of us could talk, as soon as we could move again after Mike left, Bella was gone, we have tried looking, but her scent has been covered by Mike, then we get news that Tanya has gone missing, and so has Bella.. This was strange, how could Bella and Tanya and Mike have gone in all the same day, and who changed Mike?
"Hmm.." I whispered.. Everyone looked at me... I looked down...
"Something is going on here, Mike was changed in the past year, then suddenly he arrives here, we can't move then Bella dissapears with him and Kate tells us that Tanya has dissapeared... I have a feeling she is in on this problem." I looked up at everyone.
"Perhaps I can explain.." Everyone gasped.. Edward was home, and with Bella..
"BELLA! OH MY GOD YOU'RE ALIVE!!!" Alice screamed, causing all of us to cover our ears.. I smiled in relief..
Esme ran to Bella and picked her up, spinning her round whilst laughing... Bella pushed her away whilst growling... I ran to Esme...picking her up..
Bella looked shocked.
"I am so sorry Esme, I guess I wasn't used to kind touches, after what happened." She whispered.
"It's ok Bella...what did happen?" I answered.
She looked at me, "I'd rather not say right now."
I nodded and hugged her tightly, I inhaled her scent, and realised something...
It was different, all wrong, a bit like Tanya's scent, mixed with Bella's, but it was an old scent... hmm..
I looked at her...
"Bella? Why do you smell like Tanya? And why does your scent smell quite old?"
