So hi!
Sup. well first chapter. Yea!
I'm already thinking bout who the charters will be played by. Yep. So have fun reading my friend.Damien's POV
I did not want to move. Why would I? I had so many friends in California. I had my girl friend Lydia. I miss her. But after the fire Mom wanted to move back to her home town. In Main. Freaking MAIN. From California to Main. And I hate planes. Always have. Always will. I just want Mom to be happy.
She's a greenest. Loves the woods. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with Main. Except for its freezing cold temps right now. Just getting out of winter. There's still snow on the ground. But I love water and the beach.
"See, fresh air! You don't get that in California now do ya!" Mom laughed, loading the cab with her bags. I love my mom. My dad died in the fire a year ago. "Yeah, it's........ Grate!" I fake smiled. "So I arranged to stay at an old friends house. You'll love her house. So big honey. And I herd her next door nabber really is something. You'll start school in a week. That should be enough time to settle in you think?" Mom rambled. I nodded. From what I herd bout her friend. She's had a weird obsession with mythical creatures and what not. Wow. Placing my bags in the back of the cab. I hop in with Mom. Who is on her phone.
I already don't like it here.
Luna's POV
Dad always says a first impression is a lasting one. But he always has a good first impression. Everyone likes him. So the nabbers are having two new people move in with them. Dad says it's an old friend of his from high school. And if your wondering about my mom. I don't have one. Dad never settled. And he got lonely. So he adopted me. It's kinda obvious since we look nothing alike. Dad has a crazy obsession with the moon so he named me Luna. Which means moon in Latin. I think. So he's making me come out of my room to go with him to meat the nabbers. I don't like people to say the least. And people don't like me. I have no friends, sap for my cat, Skulen. Yes that's his name.
"Do I have to dad?" I whine. "Yes pumpkin you have to!" Dad say in a sarcastic bitchy way. "The when I get out you have to give me a piggy back ride. Got it!" I shout through my thick door. "Not happening sweetheart!" I hate him. So mean. And I'm lazy. But I get dressed any way. I pull on some lose denim genies and along sleeve blue too-big sweater. I pull my long red hair back into a lose pony tail. Why get dressed up. No need to try and impress them anyway. It's not like they'll like me anyway. They'll probably just have me around so my dad will go over there.
The nabbers have a daughter about a year younger then me. But we are in the same grade because she was born in the spring and I was born in the winter. So really we'er only five months apart. She nice and all but doesn't like to talk to me. She's a rebel and a princess. Being the only child she was spoiled too much. Her names Jade Fance. With a good sense of style and a rich Mommy and Daddy. The girl fits right in. "Come on!" Dad yelled from the front door. "Hard there's a good football game going on. The Fance's will definitely be watching it at there house." Leave it to dad to only want football. More of a hockey person myself. "Ok, I'm coming!" I yelled back. I could dangly hear a heartily chuckle. "That's what she said!" Pulling on my army boots, I kick open my door, and start running at Dad. Him suspecting this, had already started running down the drive way. He knows I hate "she said!" jokes. Good thing we only live a mile away from the nabbers. I could run that in less then ten minutes. But dad was already breathing hared by the half mile mark. You think for someone in such good shape, he'd be able to run longer. But nah, running my thing.
"Okay! I give, I give! Spare me, oh high mighty running lord of awesomeness!" Dad said gasping for breath. I towered over him on the ground. I almost smiled, "Come on, we'er late." I pulled him up. I was glad I subconsciously pulled on my gloves before running out the door. Or that physical contact could have brought some unwanted visions of fears and memories, that I did not want to see. We walked the rest of the way to the Fance's house.
Okay, sooooooo what do y'all think?
