'' Hey little cat ''

My cheeks flushed.

you wanted him to notice you, right?

In a shiny coat of creased leather, Hunter strode off his bike. He tore his sunglasses off, his eyes gleamed amongst his bruised face.

he'd just been in a fight.

He gave me a smirk, noticing how shocked I was. Blood gushed from his nose.

''Er- ar-e y-ou o-kk?'' I stuttered. He gave me a nod, he still look so, so..

hot.

no mind. stop making me think like that.

admit it 'little cat', you think Hunter James is ..hot.

'' About that deal'' He grinned, wiping the blood from his face. It smudged, running down his chin. He approached me, his eyes fixated on mine. I metled inside, although on the outside I remained conserved. The urge to run up to him and wrap my arms around him wrestled and tumbled with my conscience. My conscience was bruised, my urge collapsed as my mum strode out her car, her pearl necklace jingled along with her earrings. ''Kat!?'' She clasped my arm, giving Hunter a terratorial glare, she realised who he was, her glare flickered into a recognising smile. ''Hunter..how are the parents doing?'' She fakely smiled, fluttering her eyelids.

blood. mum, she hates blood.

don't just stand there, do something then!

I grabbed her by the wrist, ''Mum, you er, you don't look so good'' Her lips were dry and a very light pink, her face was an ombre sunset of white and blue. She collapsed. Hunter stared at me. ''I'll talk to you tomorrow''I squeaked, trying to carry her weight. ''Wait'' He asserted, clenching her other arm. I shook my head. My urge took another thrash at my conscience.

think mum, not hot boy Kat!

We lifted her by the arms and slumped her on our living room sofa. ''Thankyou'' I shakily muttered, placing a pillow behind her head. ''No problem'' He smiled back, his over confident smile had vanished, a kinder, softer smile was sewn on his lips instead.

''So about that deal?''

''Oh yeah, meet me after school ''

Shivers raced up and down my spine.

''Ok'' I mumbled, he gave me a longing stare, his stare held many secrets. None that I could read from just looking into them. My mum began to groan, breaking the brief moment of peaceful silence we just had.

''See you tomorrow'' He grinned, his confident smile had returned.

''See you tomorrow''
